There are some of Fortuna’s picks that are paying pretty well and so I decided to place ten bucks on Sydney to beat Hawthorn. I went with Sportsbet partly because they had the best odds but mainly because when I was checking their odds I noticed they were offering a AFL Special Swans vs Hawks Cash Back Offer! This is where you can place up to $50 on a head to head bet and as long as they lead in at least one quarter you get your money back if they lose! I figured shit, Sydney should win this game and even if they lost I’m sure they would lead in at least one quarter right? Let’s hope so.
Naturally I’m still waiting to win Sportsbet’s Million Dollar Tipping competition. Also, because I’m also tipping on the NRL I’ve doubled my chances of getting my hand on that $10,000!

Sports Betting Update:
Lost the Sydney vs Hawthorn bet but got my money back from Sportsbet because Sydney lead in at least one round. Figured as long as I still had the ten bucks on hand I’d place it on St Kilda to beat Melbourne. That game is definitely winnable and as long the win one quarter and lose I still get my money back.
