Before you start bitching about Fortuna’s AFL Round 21 results, let me just tell you that last week had some upsets that had heaps of punters scratching their heads. Not to mention counting their losses.

Take the Bombers for example! Who would have thought they would beat the Suns scoring their second win for the season. To tell you the truth, I’m one of those ‘naysayers’ who said that there was no way in hell that Essendon would win a game this season.

Then there was the Port Adelaide vs Melbourne game. Man, I should have known better than to trust the Power to actually win a completely winnable game. Shit, I think I said as much in my last post.

Then there is the Carlton vs Brisbane game. Carlton really should have won that game. I was so sure about that one I put my money on it. Man, it really hurt that the Blues couldn’t even win a damn quarter! Oh well, shit happens. That’s why it’s so important to gamble responsibly! I was hoping at the very least they would win a quarter so I could place a bet on another game. But they didn’t and that put an end to my betting for that week.

Looking at Fortuna’s AFL round 20 results, 3 out of 9 isn’t too bad when you consider that the three Fortuna got wrong were definitely upsets. Especially the Hawthorn vs Melbourne game. Who ever thought that Melbourne would beat the Hawks?  :pull_hair: I’m sure no-one was more surprised than the Hawks for losing their nine game winning streak to the Demons.

AFL round 20 results aside I’m pretty happy with my online betting results, thanks to Sportsbet‘s cash back special.

Like I said in last weeks post I intended to take full advantage of Sportsbet‘s cash back special. I placed my first bet in the Richmond Collingwood game. Because Collingwood lead in the first quarter Sportsbet refunded my money.

I then placed a bet on Sydney to beat Port Power and that bet paid off. My next bet was Western Bulldogs and North Melbourne game. Even though I lost that bet, once again, Sportsbet refunded my money because  North Melbourne lead in one quarter.

My last bet was on the St Kilda vs Carlton game. As we all know St Kilda won that game and I won my second bet for the week.

All in all I won close to nine bucks which is pretty close to a 50% increase on my outlay. Man it’s good to see my sports betting bankroll increase.

Fortuna’s AFL Round 19 Results Near Perfect

Fortuna’s AFL Round 19 ResultsAs you can see from the image above Fortuna’s AFL round 19 results were pretty bloody good. The only upset in her AFL round 19 results was the Collingwood vs West Coast match. I’m sure Fortuna isn’t the only one to get that match wrong! This brings her total for the year to 115.

If you read my Round 19 Footy Tips post you would have noticed that I actually placed a bet on that particular game. Luckily for me I used Sportsbet and because West Coast lead in one quarter I actually got my bet refunded.

If you’re one of my regular readers you’ll also know that I also enter the Million Dollar Tipping and even though it’s totally free I usually bet a buck on my picks. Because I only got one of my tips wrong I also got that money refunded  :homage:

That leaves my final bet where I backed North Melbourne with William Hill. Luckily, because of Fortuna getting it right this time around, that turned out to be a winning bet. Because of the refunds that means that round 19 turned out to be a winning round for me.

As we get closer and closer to the finals things are really getting more exciting because things are so tight in the top eight, it could be anybody’s game.

Here’s hoping that Fortuna can have a perfect result in round 20!
