World Tennis Betting Scandals Smartphones Fault

Betting Scandals Blamed On Smartphones?

betting scandals SBF Sports Betting FixingBetting scandals have alway existed. I say this because of the Reuters article I was reading. It was pretty well blaming smartphones for the latest increase in sports fixing. The latest shit that’s hit the fan has all to do with tennis match fixing. I’m sure that everyone would agree that corruption has existed in sports betting way before the advent of the smartphone. Also no-one would argue that the advent of online betting and Smartphone betting via apps has pumped more money in the sports betting arena than ever before. But to blame these new betting scandals on smartphones, I mean really!!!

There is also no doubt that many governments all over the world have or will bring in laws to clean up SBF (sports betting fixing). Yeah, I just made that up and it would be pretty cool if it took off  :tongue_out: We have laws in Australia which prevents people going online or using apps to place a bet once the sporting even has started. They can still ring in and place a bet with legal sports betting agencies. I don’t know about you but that sort of defeats the point doesn’t it. Why not stop all forms of betting once a game has started? At least that will prevent SBF once the game or match has started.

According to Patrick Jay, a betting consultant and former sports and football director at Ladbrokes, SBF “has grown because of mobile technology. It allows people to place bets anywhere, anytime….People are also dealing in credit, and therefore accounts are being run all over the world. It has created a perfect combination.”

I may be a little naive and while I believe that some of this crap is and has always been going on, I don’t see how that is the fault of all the honest punters like myself you love to place a bet online. The fault lies with all the crooked sports betting sites that somehow manipulate the results in order to cash in big. Obviously its going to be way too hard for governments to stop these wankers from conducting business because they all operate from the shady shores of counties that make it hard to extricate them

I reckon the only way to put a stop to them is to support those legitimate sites, like the ones represented by this site. Reputable online sports betting sites like William HillSportsbetBet365 and UniBet. Maybe once their money dried up SBF would be a thing of the past. Or at least until they found another way to corrupt the sports betting industry.

What Is Ronda Rousey Up To

I was saying to myself today, ‘What is Ronda Rousey up to these days?’ Especially after her loss to Holly Holm. That match certainly caused a lot of excitement in the betting world. Anyway, I thought I would take a look at any news I could find on Ronda Rousey since that famous, or infamous depending on how you look at it, Ronda Rousey / Holly Holm UFC fight.

News On What Is Ronda Rousey Up To

There are those that are saying that Ronda is going to retire but I don’t believe those rumours at all. To me Ronda is one of those sheilas that just doesn’t quit when she’s down. Sure she took a beating but I reckon once she’s recovered she’s gonna want to have another go at taking Holly down.

An Australian news site reports how Ronda has responded to retirement talk. Questioned as to whether or not she wants to face Holly again Ronda says, “Of course, that’s all I want to do.”

I also found an interesting video about Holly talking about her loss to Holly. She seems really upset about her performance after that fateful punch. Also that last kick did a lot of damage, something that is going to take a long time to recover from.

I’ve even found the full ESPN interview. Here’s a couple of quotes that I found enlightening.

“I just feel so embarrassed. How I fought after that is such an embarrassing representation of myself. I wasn’t even fucking there.”

About the not touching gloves fiasco…”It was just like a reaction,” Rousey says about her decision not to touch gloves with Holm before the fight. “I was like, ‘The last time I saw you [at the weigh-in], you were putting your fist on my chin and trying to get a cheap hit on me, then you turn around and you want to touch gloves? You have to be one way or the other. So if you want to be that way with me, that’s the way it is.'”

Is there to be a rematch? Rousey says…”I guess it’s all going to be determined by what happens in the rematch,” she says. “Everything is going to be determined by that. Either I’ll win and keep going or I won’t and I’ll be done with everything.”

Looks like the answer to that is yes.

To finish the post I’m going to treat you to another lovely collage of the Hot Sports babe Ronda Rousey.

what is Ronda Rousey up to

In case you’ve missed my other sexy collages of Ronda Rousey, the first one was when she featured as one of our Hot Sports Babe and the other one when I was dispelling the myth that Ronda Rousey was too masculine.

Chris Gayle Mel McLaughlin Controversy

Chris Gayle Mel McLaughlin Embarrassing Moment

Chris Gayle Mel McLaughlin ControversyI’ve been watching the Chris Gayle Mel McLaughlin controversy over the last couple of days and I’ve decided to have my say. In case you’ve missed the Chris Gayle Mel McLaughlin it all started when Mel McLaughlin was attempting to interview Chris Gayle after a Big Bash game. You can see the video below.

Ever since that interview people have been giving Chris Gayle a hard time. While I admit his comments weren’t the most professional I don’t think he should be crucified for it. I also don’t believe that he was ‘bullying’ Mel McLaughlin.

It seemed obvious that Chris has never been that close to Mel before and he was probably thunderstruck by her beauty. What do men usually do in that situation? They usually come up with so much crap that it’s embarrassing. That’s the impression that I got from that interview. The poor guy was trying to chat up a beautiful woman and he just did it in the wrong place.

Sure Mel was trying to conduct a serious interview, and she was obviously embarrassed by the whole thing but it’s my opinion that a true professional would have taken it in her stride and continued with the interview.

As for the media beat up, honestly guys, things must be pretty quiet out there if you need to go on about something so trivial for days on end. But then, they know there are a lot of dimwitted twits out there that soak this sort of crap up and so they’re merely giving them what they want.

As for Mel, as you can see in this interview, she just thinks that every one should just move on. She’s accepted Chris Gayle’s apology. Something the media should do. Instead they’re now going through his apology and saying that it wasn’t a true apology.

“There wasn’t anything meant to be disrespectful or offensive to Mel…..If she felt that way, I’m really sorry for that. There wasn’t any harm meant in that particular way, to harm any particular person in any particular way like that.”

In hind sight I’m sure Chris Gayle would not have said what he did had he known it would have upset Mel. It seems obvious that he was merely having a bit of fun and didn’t think he was doing it at Mel’s expense. I’m also sure that if a male reporter was chatted up by one of our Hot Sports Babes during an interview there wouldn’t have been such a media beat up. Does that mean there’s a double standard as far as this sort of stuff goes?

Check out the video below!

What do you think would have happened if it was a bloke in the background ogling female UFC fighters?
