William Hill For Online Betting

Man, I am really bummed out. I’ve been doing a lot of research on William Hill and I have to say they have really impressed me. When joining any online site the first thing I look for is how long they have been online. The longer they’ve been operating the more legitimate they are. This makes perfect sense when you consider that scam sites lack longevity. Not only that, scam sites attract a lot of negative online attention. I’m happy to say William Hill came out pretty well.

As to their longevity, bricks and mortar wise they’ve been around since 1934! In this time they’ve grown into a well respected, recognised and trusted brand in the betting industry. They employ over 16000 people in 18 different countries! Once again, this shows me they’re serious about their industry. The fact they’ve been around so long is due to their honesty, trust worthiness and dedication to customer satisfaction.

What William Hill Has To Offer

What really impressed me was the amount of services William Hill has to offer. As you’ve probably guessed from my last post about Sports Betting, I’ve developed a taste for betting on the AFL. That being the case I made sure that William Hill had a sports betting feature. You can actually bet on almost any sport in the world. Shit, you can even bet on politics. Who would have thought politics was a sport? I always thought they were more of a talkfest. Then again, maybe you bet on who can talk for the longest 😀

William Hill also allows you to play Bingo online. They have several casinos including EuroGrand Casino and the William Hill Casino Club. They’ve even got a live casino. Once you’re in the online ‘live casino‘ it’s as if the Casino is in your very own room!

So, why I am I a little pissed off? It’s because I’m am Aussie and as you can see from the image below, they don’t accept members Aussie members.

William Hill Review

In my last post where I introduced you to EZ eSports  Betting and why it is so popular I briefly mentioned William Hill. To be totally honest, after all my research it wasn’t my first choice. I originally decided to go with William Hill because they offered such a diverse range of online betting options. Unfortunately their online AFL sports betting option was not open to Aussies. And I really wanted to bet on a couple of games last week.Namely the Showdown, Port Adelaide vs Adelaide and Western Bulldogs vs North Melbourne.

Well, that wasn’t going to happen with William Hill and so I went for my second choice. Being an Aussie and all it probably should have been my first choice but what can I say but I was blinded by all the glitter and finery of William Hill. As it turns out it probably should have been my first choice!

William Hill Accepts PayPal!

William HillHow cool is that. Apart from William Hill being Australia’s biggest, and possibly best, bookmaker you can place your bets online using PayPal! I’m sure that will make a lot of eBayers happy, what with PayPal being an absolute necessity for having an eBay account. For those of you who don’t have a PayPal account they’ll also accept your credit card, debit card, BPAY, Moneybookers, Skrill or POLi. Strange they don’t accept Neteller and I’ve never heard of POLi. I must look into that.

I would be really interested to know if being able to place a sports bet using PayPal would be something that would interest you. You can let me know either way by leaving a comment below.

William Hill App

I don’t know about you but I love my Apps. They make doing things online so, so much easier. The first thing I did after joining was to check my iPhone 5S App store. I searched for William Hill and there she was! 🙂 A quick install later and I fired her right up. Just as I expected from a good app, once I logged in I was easily able to work out how to bet on my selected AFL footy games.

So, I deposit thirty bucks into my account and placed a couple of bets. Like you can see from my screenshot of my iPhone 5S smartphone, my poor Crows lost agains the Power but The Kangaroos won against the Western Bulldogs. Even though I’m down $6.70 I enjoyed those games a whole lot more than I normally do. A shame the all that egging on I gave the Crows didn’t work though, because winning would’ve been so much better.

In case you’re wondering how I did that screenshot on the iPhone it was really quite simple. To do a screen capture on the iPhone all you need to do is to push the button on the top right of the iPhone and the round one on the bottom at the same time. It’s as simple as that.

William Hill Special Offers

Even though I didn’t know at the time, because that would have factored favourably into whether or not I would pick them, William Hill offer their members special deals. Have you ever bet on a team and lost your cash all because of a few lousy points? Well this week William Hill is offering the following deal.

G’Day Peter,

The AFL bounces into action this weekend and William Hillt has an 18 point money back special on all round 3 AFL games. Back a team in the head-to-head market and if your team loses by 18 points or less, you’ll get your money back. Surely there’s no better bet than that!”

I have to agree, that is a pretty sweet deal.

William Hill offers a hell of a lot more than just being able to bet on the AFL too. So much more that I think I’ll break it down into several smaller posts.

If you have any questions at all feel free to leave a comment. I would really like to hear from any of you who have an Android type smartphone. Does William Hill have an app for you guys?

Oh, just so you know, the fact that Shane Warne promotes William Hill didn’t factor at all when it came to choosing William Hill

Sports Betting Why Its So Popular

Let’s face it, people love sports. Watching your favourite sport can be very exciting.  Betting on your favourite team to win makes it even more exiting. Shit, even when you know your team is going to lose you can still keep the game interesting by betting on the opposition. It’s even sweeter when the opposition offers better odds 😉

Easy Online Betting

betting SportsLife these days can be pretty hectic which is why I’m always on the lookout to simplify things in my life. That’s why I now buy my lottery tickets online.

As far as betting on sports goes I was never one to place a bet on the races or a footy game because it was all too hard. I didn’t have time to go to the TAB and trying to organise one via the phone was just a pain in the arse. That’s when I decided to try try and do it online. Don’t know why it didn’t come to me sooner, especially after discovering I could buy lottery tickets online.

I set this site up so others can learn what’s involved. I decided on a blogging platform so I could interact with all the other punters out there.

As time goes on we’ll see this site evolve learning all that’s involved in online sports betting. We’ll discuss betting tips and tricks. We’ll talk about responsible gambling, because we sure as heck don’t want to develop any gambling problems. We’ll look at available products that will enhance our betting experience. Seeing as how I love jokes I reckon I’ll even post a few sporting jokes. 😀

In my next post I am going to introduce you to Sportingbet. That post will explain why after all my research I decided to join them over all the other online betting sites. As time goes on I will be trialling and reviewing other online betting sites.
