AFL Round 14 Results 2017

All I can say was those AFL round 14 results 2017, while not perfect, were better that what we were getting during those bye weeks. It’s almost as if the bye weeks put a curse on the AFL results. So, how did Fortuna go with her AFL Round 14 Results 2017? Let’s have a look shall we.

Fortuna’s AFL Round 14 Results 2017

AFL Round 14 Results 2017
As you can see Fortuna got 6 of her 9 tips right. If you check my bets in last weeks post you’ll notice that I was actually able to use those tips to get all my bets with Bet365 right. It’s moments like this when I think I should have placed a mult-bet, but then I’m sure if I did that Murphy’s law would have cut in and I would have a losing bet instead of a winning bet.

What was particularly upsetting about the AFL round 14 2017 results was the Adelaide Crows vs Hawthorn game. Luckily the odds were so much in the Crows favour that it wasn’t worth betting on.

Shit, how in hell did the Crows who were on top of the ladder lose to the Hawks who were second to last? Was it because the Crows went in without all guns firing because they thought the Hawks would be an easy win? We all know what a fatal mistake that can be.

Add to that the fact that the Crows played and home and so had the home advantage makes the loss even more bewildering.

Coach Don Pyke says “We never really got into gear.” Hello, we can see that! What fans can’t understand is why the Crows couldn’t get it into gear. As the game progressed everyone could see that unless the Crows pulled their fingers out their hold on the game was tenuous at best.

Also, they have to do something about Sloane. Having one man tagged during a game should never result in a loss. Something has to be done to counteract the Rory Sloane effect.

Come  on Crows! Your fans want and deserve better.

AFL Round 7 Tips 2017

I’m pretty happy with Fortuna’s effort of 7 out of 8 in the AFL round 6 footy tipping. That puts her at a total of 40 which is one better than where she was standing in  the AFL round 6 2016 season. Footy being the way it is upsets are pretty common so I reckon anything 5 or above is pretty good. As long as I pick the right one for my bets that is :tongue_out: OK, it’s time to check out Fortuna’s AFL Round 7 Tips 2017.

  • Fremantle vs Essendon (Domain)

Tips in hand I now have a look at who is offering the best odds. My favourite online sports betting sites are William Hill, Bet365 and Sportsbet. One of the many advantages of joining multiple betting sites is the ability to use the one with the best odds. Another one is taking advantage of any special deals they’re offering.

Even though I haven’t joined my research shows Unibet  to be a reliable sports betting site.

OK, let’s check out who’s got the best odds for AFL this week.

For my selections Bet365 is offering the best odds again so I’ve gone with them. As you can see in the image above I’ve gone for another 3 leg multi-bet. I know that it’s harder to win multi-bets but they pay out so much better than backing just one team. Also, unless I get all three legs wrong I actually minimize the amount that I lose. See if you can work out why from the image there on the right.

Sportsbet Million Dollar Tipping

Once I’ve placed my bet I head on over, unless I’m already there  to Sportsbet to enter their Million Dollar Tipping competition. It’s absolutely free for members so if you haven’t joined now is a good time to do so. There’s $5000 up for grabs each week for both the AFL and NRL.

The Sportsbet app makes this really simple. I’ve started placing $2 multibets on my Million Dollar tipping picks. A win this week will pay out $24.68.

I’ve yet to take advantage of the Sportsbet cash out feature because I usually let it ride too long. Maybe this week.

So, who are you picking for your AFL Round 7 Tips 2017?

Last week only one Sportsbet tipster managed to get all nine of his tips right which just goes to show how hard it is to get a 100% accuracy with your AFL footy tips. Which is why you should always gamble responsibly.

Don’t be scare to leave a comment. I won’t bite.

AFL Round 5 2017 Tips

AFL round five is upon us and Fortuna isn’t tracking too badly with a running total of 25 in her tipping. It would have been a lot higher except for two shocking weeks of upsets. Round 1 and round 3. Lets hope that her AFL round 5 2017 tips are as good or better than last weeks, round 4, results.

OK Fortuna, lets have a look at your AFL round 5 2017 tips.

Fortuna reckons there are a few matches that could go either way in her AFL round 5 2017 tips. They are the Fremantle vs Nth. Melbourne, Richmond vs Melbourne and Essendon vs Collingwood games. Mmm, I reckon round 5 is going to be really interesting for punters.

I decided to place a multi-bet this week with Bet365 as their odds are slightly better. Fortuna Round 5 AFL Tips Bet365 betThis multibet consists of only 3 legs. You can see my bet over there on the right and as you can see it matches my picks in the table above. That $10 bet will return close to $25. I’m hoping it’s another winning bet.

Sportsbet Million Dollar Tipping

The next thing on the list is to head on over to Sportsbet so I can enter this weeks Million Dollar Tipping competition. I usually place a dollar multi-bet on my tips but this week I’m going all out and placing a $2 wager. :tongue_out: That $2 bet will return $47.40. That would be pretty cool. Naturally I would rather win the million dollar tipping competition which would net $5000!

Even though I know sweet FA about the NRL I also enter the NRL million dollar tipping. Why not, it’s free right? Last week I went for the randomize option. Today I decided to go for the tip favourites option.

Usually after placing a multi-bet on my million dollar tipping tips I just let it play out to the end. Then it dawned on me that I was letting a great opportunity slip by, :bash: I’m not taking advantage of the Sportsbet cash out feature. I don’t need to wait right till the end. I can cash out at any time and take whatever winnings are available. This week I’m definitely keeping the cash out feature in mind.
