AFL Round 3 2017 Tips

Before we get into the AFL round 3 2017 tips lets recap quickly round 2. Round 2 of the AFL 2017 season was a ripper week of football. Unlike round 1 it was almost upset free. Fortuna scored 8 out of the nine right getting the Richmond vs Collingwood game wrong. I wouldn’t call that game an upset, although I’m sure most punters who backed Collingwood would have found it upsetting :tongue_out: Luckily I accidentally backed Richmond in my multi-bet which makes it two winning bets in a row in this years AFL season. :clap2:

Once you have your AFL Round 3 2017 Tips in hand you shouldn’t run off and place a bet until you check out who’s offering the best AFL odds. Naturally it makes no sense to do that unless you’ve been smart enough to join, as I have, more than one online sports betting sites. My favourite 3 are Sportsbet, William Hill and Bet365. Apart for getting the best odds available I also can take part in whatever promotion they’re offering.

OK, time to check out who’s offering the best footy odds for the AFL Round 3 2017 tips.

I’ve decided to go with Bet365 this week because they’re offering the best odds my multi-bet. Yep, I’m placing another multi AFL Round 3 2017 Bet365 Multibecause they pay out the most for a win. Sure it’s a little harder to pick four winners but on the plus side I have the added thrill of watching those games I have money on.

I’ve decided that this year I would go for for 4 legs in my multi whereas last year I went for five. I figured because I lost out last year by only one leg a 4 leg multi will be heaps more profitable. Like Sportsbet Bet365 also offers Cash Out which I reckon is a great feature. Last Time I used the Bet365 cash out I noticed they had a sliding scale. Hope that’s still the case.

You can see proof of my bet over there on the right. I do this to show everybody, that unlike a lot of other sites that merely talk about betting, I actually step up to the plate and place my bets.

I’m also all about responsible gambling because gambling responsibly is so important. This is why I never bet more than $10 a week. That is of course unless I’ve already won a bet and I feel like another little flutter but even then it’s never more than ten bucks.

Something else I love to do is to have a go at the Sportsbet Million Dollar Tipping competition. This competition is absolutely free to all Sportsbet members and is absolutely free to join. The best thing about it is that you can win $5,000 every week if you get all your tips right. Oh, you also have to guess the winning margin of the last match.

Even though I have no idea about the NRL, I also place my tips there just for another chance at another $5,000!

Honestly, if you haven’t joined Sportsbet you should seriously consider doing so. Join Now!

So, who are you backing in this weeks AFL?

Round 4 NAB Challenge Tips

Round 4 NAB Challenge TipsIts time for the round 4 NAB Challenge tips. You may remember that I got all the tips right in the first round of the NAB Challenge. You may also remember that I didn’t place a bet on that round. I did place bets on the other two though with pretty dismal results. Do you reckon that Fortuna is trying to tell me something?  :tongue_out:

What the hell, what’s the point of having a sports betting blog if I’m not willing to place a bet. Besides, although winning is the ultimate outcome placing a bet increases the thrill of the actual games I’ve placed a bet on. Not to mention that placing Multi-Bets ensures that thrill covers a lot more games.  :drunk:

Out of my favourite online sports betting sites Bet365SportsBet and William Hill, the first two are the only ones to offer a cash back feature. You’ll notice that there are a lot more matches in the final round of the NAB Challenge. So lets have a look at this weeks round 4 NAB Challenge tips.

The round 4 NAB Challenge tips are probably as close as we’re going to get to an actual AFL match. This is because a lot of the sides are going to have full strength lineups. The main problem with getting the round 4 NAB Challenge tips right is that we can’t really go on past performance in this pre-season games.

Betting tips should improve once we’re able to see how the relative teams are playing in the 2016 AFL season.

I’ve decided to go with Bet365 this week because they’re offering the best odds. Weird that at the time this post went live that William Hill didn’t have any of the Friday’s games odds available. Too bad because this left them out of the betting loop this week.

The teams I’ve decided to back are in red in the table above. You can see a snapshot of my actual bet here. Yes, I actually do place bets with the online sports betting sites that I promote.

Are you placing a bet on any of this weeks NAB Challenge? If so I’d love to hear from you in the comments.

Round 23 AFL Footy Tips

Before checking out Fortuna’s round 23 AFL footy tips I thought I show you my favourite three online sports betting sites.

  1. Bet365 because of their unique sliding scale feature for cashing out is always a possibility. The sliding cash out feature allows you to choose how much you want to cash out which is great when you’re not sure whether or not you want to cash out at all.
  2. Sportsbet also has a cash out feature but what I love best about them is their Million Dollar Tipping competition which is free to join. This post shows how you can actually win as long as you get the closest margin!
  3. William Hill, well they’re William Hill, one of the most renowned online sports betting sites. I’m just hanging out for the day they introduce a cash out feature.

Fortuna’s Round 23 AFL Footy Tips

Round 23 AFL Footy Tips

It’s the last round before the finals. Fremantle has decided to rest up to 11 players in their game against Port Adelaide. Upsets in round 22 only proves how it anybody’s game the closer we get to the finals. I had my first multi-bet loss in three rounds but I don’t really care because I’m pretty stoked that the Crows beat West Coast!  :drunk:

OK, I think it’s time we have a look at Fortuna’s round 23 AFL footy tips. Let’s hope she’ll do better than last weeks round where she got 6 out of the 9 tips right.

  • Richmond vs Nth. Melbourne
  • Geelong vs Adelaide Crows
  • Brisbane vs Western Bulldogs
  • Port Adelaide vs Fremantle
  • Hawthorn vs Carlton
  • Sydney vs Gold Coast
  • West Coast vs St. Kilda
  • Melbourne vs GWS Giants
  • Collingwood vs Essendon

Before trying to work out my Multi-Bet and who’s going to be the lucky online sports betting site I always like to look at the odds they’re offering before placing a bet.

As always I asked Fortuna for her ‘too close to call’ as I usually try to stay away from betting on these games. In her round 23 AFL footy tips Fortuna reckons I should stay away from the Richmond vs Nth. Melbourne and the Melbourne vs GWS Giants games.

Once again I’ve decided to go with Bet365 for my triple multi-bet for seven bucks. That left me $3 to bet. normally I place a dollar on each of the teams in the multi-bet but this time I wanted to try something different. This time I put a dollar on the three teams with the best odds. That means I put a dollar on Carlton, Gold Coast and St. Kilda.  Who knows, maybe the round 23 AFL footy tips will come up with some more surprises. Here’s hoping!

You can see my multi-bet here.
