Socceroos vs Honduras Best Bets

I’m not one to bet on the soccer because I don’t know all that much about soccer. But with the AFL being over for the year I’m seriously thinking about it. Having said that there’s no point in even considering any Socceroos vs Honduras best bets without doing a little research on the matter.

Socceroos vs Honduras Best Bets News

Matildas star Sam Kerr has her say on the Socceroos World Cup playoff. She’s a little worried about this game, which starts tomorrow, because they’re an unknown team where she is concerned. Her research has shown that they are a rough playing side which is something that I’m sure the Socceroos can deal with.

Kerr believes having Cahill there is a big plus but believes the pressure of having the whole world looking on to see how the game pans out will be their biggest worry. But, doesn’t Honduras also have the same pressure? Perhaps the team that deals the best with that pressure will come out on top. Kerr is “100 per cent confident in the boys but will still be holding my breath with the rest of Australia this next week.”

Dean Bilton in his article for ABC news believes that even if Cahill doesn’t play the Socceroos still has a better than good chance of winning. This is partly due to his belief that Honduras place in the run for the World Cup playoff was more due to luck than absolute skill.

Socceroos vs Honduras Loss Possible

Lets not forget that sport being what it is one should not be surprised if things do not go the way punters would hope for. That’s what makes responsible gambling so important. Nine World Of Sports don’t seem to be hopeful of a Socceroos win tomorrow in San Pedro. Apparently a loss does not sound the death nell for the Socceroos as a good win in the second leg on Wednesday 15 November at ANZ Stadium could still secure them a place in the World Cup.

So, what do the punters think so far? Lets have a look at what the odds are for my top sports betting sites.

Looking at the table above it looks like the Socceroos are underdogs as far as the punters are concerned. As I said at the beginning of the post, I’m not into soccer all that much but I reckon I’ll put five bucks on the Socceroos using Bet365 as they’re offering the best odds.

My bet365 Results For 2014 World Cup Final

Did I not tell you in my last bet of the week that Germany were going to win the 2014 World Cup! The image on the right shows you bet365 results world cupmy bet365 results for the 2014 World Cup wager. You may want to compare that bet365 results with the image on that post. You may notice that even though Germany won the 2014 World Cup I didn’t win anything. It actually turned out to be a losing bet. WTF!

I actually wasn’t surprised because the same thing happened when I placed a bet with Sportingbet. I wrote about it in the post, When A Win Is Not A win. The problem is even though they won they didn’t do it the allotted 90 minutes. They only won after the game went into extra time. Apparently, that does not count. So, that’s 5 bucks down the drain, but then that’s the way things roll in the betting world right.

You may have noticed that even though I got all the other bets wrong those lovely guys at bet365 returned my wagers back. I’m not sure why, but I’m not one to look a gift horse in the mouse. I’m more than happy to take it.

I did do a bit of research though and I did manage to find the following.

World Cup Final News

So, that was my bet365 result for last weeks bet of the week. it’s now time to have a look at what some of the news services have to say about the 2014 World Cup Final.

News.com.au has some brilliant photos. They talk about Messi being named this World Cups best player while German Manuel Neuer was named the tournament’s best goalkeeper! and was given the Golden Glove.

BBC news, rather than report the World Cup German victory has decided to go with a political article. “World Cup. Will German Victory Help Angela Merkel” I don’t want to show my ignorance but I’ve never heard of Angela Merkel and therefore I couldn’t care less if it helped her political career.

I thought that Fox News Latino World Cup Final article was pretty good. But then you kind of expect that from the guys at Fox News. If you didn’t get to actually see the World Cup final you’ll find that the Fox News narrative very informative. I especially liked the way they described the winning goal.
[contentbox bgcolor=’f2f2f2′ border=’999999′ borderwidth=2 flareshadow=400 width=400 left=”yes”]In the 113th minute, he centered the ball perfectly to striker Mario Gotze, who had entered in the 88th minute. Gotze brought the ball down with his chest, and, as he was falling, drilled the ball into the far end of the goal with his left.

One of the prettiest goals you will ever see, on the biggest stage imaginable.[/contentbox]

Just to finish off, I managed to find some Germany vs Argentina 2014 World Cup Final video.

Well, now you know who is in and who is out. I’m actually quite surprised that the USA is still in the running. Especially when you consider the likes of Italy and England being kicked out and all.
