2018 AFLW Round 5 Results

Five weeks into the 2018 AFLW season and my 2018 AFLW Round 5 Results show that I’m still struggling to get the perfect result.

Ladbrokes Cash out multiWhile last weeks 2018 AFLW Round 5 Results wasn’t as bad as my 2018 AFLW round 3 results I’m still a couple short of the perfect result. Getting the first two games wrong sure as hell didn’t help my Ladbrokes multi-bet either.

On the plus side, I did find out that Ladbrokes gave me the option to cash out! I took a screenshot of the cash out feature which you can see there on the left. You can see it over there on the left. That’s a plus over William Hill who currently does not offer a cash-out option on their multi-bets.

OK, let’s have a look at the 2018 AFLW round 5 scored.

AFLW 2018 round 5 scores

  • Melbourne 4.10 34 – Brisbane 4.4 28
  • Fremantle 3.3 21 – GWS Giants 6.3 39
  • Adelaide Crows 8.7 – 55 Carlton 2.8 20
  • Collingwood 6.5 41 Western Bulldogs 7.7 46

At least the Crows won again, but they’re still just out of the top 4 position.

In hindsight, I probably would have been better off backing Melbourne, primarily because they were playing at home. Then again, you never know how things will turn out when you’re betting on your favourite sports. The possibility of a loss is why I’m always pushing for people to gamble responsibly.

According to Fox Sport, it was Daisy Pearce’s performance that secure the win for Melbourne.

The AFL site has an excellent rundown of last weeks Fremantle vs GWS giant game.

So far I’ve yet to get a win betting on the AFLW 2018 season. I think that calls for me to change my sports betting plan. Maybe this week I’ll forgo the multi-bet route and back one of the team outright. I reckon I’ll wait until this week’s tips and best odd before I make my final decision on this week’s sports betting plan.
