Man, I’m so bloody happy that the AFL season has finally started again. And not just because Fortuna, our Lady Luck of sport has finally smiled upon me. For those of you that don’t know, I also ask Lady Luck as to whether or not I should place bet. That post will explain how it all works. Anyway, this time she pointed to WilliamHill, and as I’m a member I got the green light to bet on the Port Power vs Fremantle match.  :clap:

As a Crows Fan you may be wondering why I bet on the Port Power vs Fremantle game and not the Adelaide Crows vs North Melbourne game. Well, you see it all had to with being able to maximise my bet. As a win to Port Power offered better odds than a win to Adelaide I decided to back Port Power.

All I had to decide now was which online bookie to place my bet with. Not hard to do as I have apps for all the online sports sites that I am a member of. After a quick flip through them I went with Sportsbet as they offered the best odds. Not a huge difference mind you, but I’m old school and I believe in getting the best deal no matter how small the difference is.

According to the official Port Adelaide website they’ve decided to kick off the season with a full strength side. Why not? Getting a good win right off the bat is always a good confidence booster right. A whole lot better than starting off with a loss that’s for sure.

Thankfully both Angus Monfries and Paddy Ryder have been cleared to play AFL-sanctioned games by the AFL Anti-Doping Tribunal on Tuesday. Yep, both cleared and both raring to go to prove themselves to their new club.

I know it’s going to be a great match and the fact that I have a bet riding on it will make it even better.  :drunk:
