AFL Round 7 Tips 2017

I’m pretty happy with Fortuna’s effort of 7 out of 8 in the AFL round 6 footy tipping. That puts her at a total of 40 which is one better than where she was standing in  the AFL round 6 2016 season. Footy being the way it is upsets are pretty common so I reckon anything 5 or above is pretty good. As long as I pick the right one for my bets that is :tongue_out: OK, it’s time to check out Fortuna’s AFL Round 7 Tips 2017.

  • Fremantle vs Essendon (Domain)

Tips in hand I now have a look at who is offering the best odds. My favourite online sports betting sites are William Hill, Bet365 and Sportsbet. One of the many advantages of joining multiple betting sites is the ability to use the one with the best odds. Another one is taking advantage of any special deals they’re offering.

Even though I haven’t joined my research shows Unibet  to be a reliable sports betting site.

OK, let’s check out who’s got the best odds for AFL this week.

For my selections Bet365 is offering the best odds again so I’ve gone with them. As you can see in the image above I’ve gone for another 3 leg multi-bet. I know that it’s harder to win multi-bets but they pay out so much better than backing just one team. Also, unless I get all three legs wrong I actually minimize the amount that I lose. See if you can work out why from the image there on the right.

Sportsbet Million Dollar Tipping

Once I’ve placed my bet I head on over, unless I’m already there  to Sportsbet to enter their Million Dollar Tipping competition. It’s absolutely free for members so if you haven’t joined now is a good time to do so. There’s $5000 up for grabs each week for both the AFL and NRL.

The Sportsbet app makes this really simple. I’ve started placing $2 multibets on my Million Dollar tipping picks. A win this week will pay out $24.68.

I’ve yet to take advantage of the Sportsbet cash out feature because I usually let it ride too long. Maybe this week.

So, who are you picking for your AFL Round 7 Tips 2017?

Last week only one Sportsbet tipster managed to get all nine of his tips right which just goes to show how hard it is to get a 100% accuracy with your AFL footy tips. Which is why you should always gamble responsibly.

Don’t be scare to leave a comment. I won’t bite.

AFL Preliminary Finals 2016 Tips

How many folk out there were surprised by last weeks fight for the 2016 AFL Finals results? The only one that really surprised me was that the Doggies beat the Hawks. I’m sure no-one was more surprised than  the Hawks?

As for the Sydney vs Adelaide game, as much as I wanted the Crows to win the Swans were just to good for them. It wouldn’t have been so bad if the Crows had put up a half decent fight but one quarter of finals football just isn’t good enough.

Of the two matches I reckon the Bulldogs vs Hawthorn one was the most exciting. That is what football finals is all about. I’m sad to say that the Crows effort was just not finals material.

As for the betting, if you read my last post you would know that I lucked out on both games.

Talking about a really hot post, you should definitely check out my Kiira Korbi Hot Sports Babe post. :drunk:

AFL Preliminary Finals 2016 Tips

Fortuna AFL Preliminary Finals 2016 TipsEnough of last weeks footy, now it’s time to look forward and see what Fortuna has in store for us. It’s time to check out Fortuna’s AFL Preliminary Finals 2016 Tips

  • GWS Giants vs Western Bulldogs (Spotless)
  • Geelong vs Sydney (MCG)

Once again Fortuna would like to stress to everybody that betting on finals footy should always be done responsibly. Unless you can afford to lose the bet don’t bet at all. Finals or not you should never bet more than you can lose.

Naturally, before anyone can place a bet on this weeks AFL Preliminary Finals tips we need to check out who has the best odds.

Now that I have the best odds I’ve decided to back the Western Bulldogs with Sportsbet. This is partly because they’re offering great odd but mainly because of their cashback offer. This is their AFL finals cashback offer where you get your money back, up to $50, if you team loses my 18 points or less.

Sure, that hasn’t paid off for me yet because the losses have all been more than that, but I reckon I have to be lucky once, right. :pull_hair:  😉

Anyway, I reckon the Doggies have what it takes to pull it off. Especially after putting the Hawks away.

As always, you can see proof of my wager by clicking here.

AFL 2015 Premiership Odds

I don’t know about you but it’s pretty bloody boring now that the AFL season is over. There’s not much on TV these days so what is a guy supposed to do. Luckily I have this blog to keep me amused. Especially when I research those Hot Sports Babes posts. Speaking of which, have you voted for your hottest sports babe yet?

What’s really aggravating is now that the AFL is over I need to find something else to put a bet on. Problem is I don’t really know much about any other sports.  :thinkin:

Did you know that you can actually place a bet on the 2015 AFL Premiership winner? Yep, and like I’ve said before placing an early bet can get you pretty good odds. Let’s check out what our favourite sports betting sites are offering on the AFL 2015 Premiership.

What a disappointment that was. It seems that bet365 is the first one off the blocks as far as releasing the AFL 2015 premiership odds. Not to worry, it just means I’ll have to do another post at a later date when the other two catch up.

Can you imagine being a St Kilda supporter and placing ten bucks on your team and they actually won? You would have an extra $5000 to spend over Christmas. Or perhaps you could spend it on a nice holiday or put it towards that engagement ring you’ve been planning to buy.

It’s interesting that the Crows are somewhere in the middle at 26.00. I would have thought that not having a coach to get them to the AFL 2015 premiership would have put them a lot lower in the table.  :tongue_out:

It will be interesting to see how those odds change the closer we get to the AFL 2015 grand final. It will also be interesting to see how the other two site’s odds compare with bet365. Once they decide to publish them that is.  😉
