A Bet On Crows To Win
Last week I wrote a post introducing you guys to bet365. You may have read that post, if not you should read my bet365 review. In that post I happened to mention that I placed a bet on the Adelaide Crows vs Collingwood match. That alone wasn’t enough to cause a stir, but the fact that I bet on Crows to win did.
I have to admit that was a very exiting game. The fact that I placed a few bucks on them to win not only made the game even more exiting, it made the win a whole lot sweeter. Before I get to how I placed that bet on Crows to win let’s take a little look at the scores during the game.
ADELAIDE 1.4 5.6 9.10 10.16 (76)
COLLINGWOOD 3.3 6.6 7.8 7.13 (55)
As you can see, even though the Crows were the first to score it wasn’t until the third quarter that they finally started to get their act together. Even though they were 14 points up at the end of the third quarter, knowing how they’ve been known to fade out in the last quarter, I didn’t think it was enough to get them over the line. But, get over the line they did.
Speaking of the third quarter, I well remember in the dying seconds of the game I was yelling at Jenkins to hurry up and kick the bloody ball before the siren went. As it was the roar from the crowd was so loud I couldn’t hear the siren anyway. Apparently nobody else could either. Even though Eddie McGuire, Collingwood’s president had his knickers in a know saying the Crows kicked it after the siren the time keeper was adamant they it was actually kicked before the siren, as reported in the Herald Sun!
Adelaide: Jenkins 4, Douglas 2, Jaensch, Podsiadly, Cameron, Betts
Collingwood: Lumumba, Pendlebury, Beams, Blair, Swan, Cloke, White
Bet On Crows To Win
OK, back to business! How I bet on Crows to win. Even though I was at home I decided to place the bet using the bet365 app to see exactly how it worked. It was a cinch. From the home screen I clicked on the Australian Rules icon. Then on the AFL – Round 9 lines/Game Lines. Once in the game lines I clicked on the To Win Icon. Then I simply click on Adelaide to win and place my $10 bet.
Before writing the post today I wen back to the app and clicked on History to bring up my settled bets for last week. You can see my $10 bet/stake in the image below. I now have $216 in my betting account ready for the coming rounds of football.
If you haven’t joined bet365 yet, don’t forget the the 100% bonus bet365 are offering all new members. A hundred bucks of that $216 is my gift from the sporting guys at bet365 for depositing $100. If you haven’t joined yet now would be a good time before they cancel the deal.
