After looking at Fortuna’s tips and checking to see which sports betting site is offering the best tips I’ve decided to place a bet on Adelaide to beat the Giants using Sportsbet as my online betting agent. You may notice that both Bet365 and William Hill don’t have any odds for the Carlton vs Richmond game. I’m afraid this is my fault as while I’m writing this post the game is actually playing in the background. Yep, this years AFL just sort of snuck up on me. AFL Round 17 Footy TipsMan after my wins last week I’m so looking forward to Fortuna’s AFL round 17 footy tips. If you read the results from round 16 footy tips you’d know that Fortuna got 8 out of her nine tips right. What was even better was that I got 9 out of 9 right! Man, was I stoked or what!  :clap2:  It was all because I tipped Adelaide to beat Port Adelaide in the Showdown. And beat them they did even though it was only by 3 points.

Speaking of Port Adelaide, what did you think of them all booing at the end of the game? Personally I thought it was most disrespectful being a memorial match to Phil Walsh and all!  :nono:

I’ve decided this week to follow Fortuna’s lead for her round 17 footy tips. Even though I’m not so sure about the Melbourne St. Kilda game. Unlike the Crows Port Power game there is no emotional value so I’m happy to go with Fortuna.

OK, now that I have Fortuna’s AFL Round 17 Footy Footy Tips and the odds from my three favourite online sports betting sites it’s time for me to work out my Multi-Bet. Having the AFL round 17 footy tips handy makes working out my MultiBet so much easier. All I do is pick the one that’s offering the best odds for my selected picks.

How To Work Out Your Multi-Bet Tips

When working out my multi-bet I naturally (usually  😉 )follow Fortuna’s footy tips. So for this multi-bet I checked her round 17 footy tips against the multi-bet odds offered. Then I pick those games that are offering the best odds. Finally I decide which online footy bookie is offering those odds. For this weeks MultiBet I’m going with Bet365 again. Only because I’m going to see if In can get all 9 right again with Sportsbet Million Dollar Tipping competition.  :drunk:

Once again Fortuna did pretty well in her round 10 footy tips results getting 6 out of the 9 right. Lets have a look at the round 10 footy tips results.

Unfortunately for me I decided to make the Fremantle vs Richmond game my first pick in my William Hill multi-bet. Talk about a bloody upset! Who would have thought that Richmond would beat Fremantle? I know Fremantle was pretty stunned to lose to Richmond. Shit, the Crows would have killed them last week if they played like that. Maybe we knocked the wind out of their sails in that game. :tongue_out:

The next game Fortuna got wrong was the Essendon vs Geelong game. That could have gone either way so it wasn’t as much of a shock as the Freo Richmond game.

The last game Fortuna got wrong was the Nth. Melbourne vs West Coast oneI In my opinion that was another upset. I’m sure most people would have tipped West Coast to win. I know I did!  :pull_hair:


Do you remember the MultiBet I placed based Fortuna’s Round !0 Footy tips? As you know when placing a multi-bet you want pick those teams that you’re sure are going to win. That’s because if any one of them loses so does your multi bet. Well, as it turns out those three that Fortuna got wrong were all part of my 5 part multi bet. Oh well, that’s always a possibility when placing an online sports bet. That’s why it’s so important to gamble responsibly.

At least the multi-bet wasn’t a total loss. The two that won put $2.58 back into my sports betting bankroll. That’s one of the reasons I love my multi-bets. That and the fact it enables me to enjoy 5 of the 9 AFL footy games instead of just one. And all while keeping within my responsible gambling guidelines.
