AFL Footy Tips Round 1 2016

Finally, AFL Footy Tips Round 1 2016! The AFL is finally here with the first game between Richmond and Carlton at the MCG. You’ll be glad to know that Fortuna is back starting with her AFL Footy Tips round 1 2016. As always I’ll be choosing between my favourite online sports betting sites.

  1. Bet365 one of my favourites because of their unique sliding scale feature for cashing out. The sliding cash out feature allows you to choose how much you want to cash out which is great when you’re not sure whether or not you want to cash out at all.
  2. Sportsbet also has a cash out feature but without the sliding scale. What I love best about them though is their Million Dollar Tipping competition which is free to join. Yep, their Million Dollar Tipping competition is back for 2016. This post shows how you can actually win as long as you get the closest margin!
  3. William Hill, well they’re William Hill, one of the most renowned online sports betting sites. I’m just hanging out for the day they introduce a cash out feature.

For those of you new to EZeSportsbetting.com you can read all about Fortuna our Lady Luck of sports,

Every week Fortuna will be gracing us with her presence to avail ourselves of her footy tips. So, without any more waffling lets take a look at Fortuna’s AFL Footy Tips Round 1 2016.

Man, check out the odds on Brisbane beating West Coast  :nope:  I doubt Brisbane could pull it off but it sure would pay off well if they did. Especially if you placed the bet with Bet365.

This week I placed my bet with Sportsbet, you can see the teams I selected in my MultiBet highlighted in the odds table above. Sportsbet have two great specials this week The first one is if your team loses in a Head to Head bet but lead in any break you get your cash back!

They also have a great Multi-Bet special where if you place a 5+leg in a Head to Head Multi but miss out on just one leg you get your money back. How cool is that, especially if you miss out on cashing out!

I also entered this years Million Dollar Tipping Competition! Yep, it’s running again and there’s $10,000 up for grabs every week! It’s free to join and while you don’t have to place a bet I placed a $1 bet using Fortuna’s tip. I figured if I lose it’s only a buck but how sweet it would be if I won. You can see my 5 fold multi here and my Million Dollar tipping bet here.

I like to show you proof of my bets so you can see I do more than just talk about placing bets.

Round 4 NAB Challenge Tips

Round 4 NAB Challenge TipsIts time for the round 4 NAB Challenge tips. You may remember that I got all the tips right in the first round of the NAB Challenge. You may also remember that I didn’t place a bet on that round. I did place bets on the other two though with pretty dismal results. Do you reckon that Fortuna is trying to tell me something?  :tongue_out:

What the hell, what’s the point of having a sports betting blog if I’m not willing to place a bet. Besides, although winning is the ultimate outcome placing a bet increases the thrill of the actual games I’ve placed a bet on. Not to mention that placing Multi-Bets ensures that thrill covers a lot more games.  :drunk:

Out of my favourite online sports betting sites Bet365SportsBet and William Hill, the first two are the only ones to offer a cash back feature. You’ll notice that there are a lot more matches in the final round of the NAB Challenge. So lets have a look at this weeks round 4 NAB Challenge tips.

The round 4 NAB Challenge tips are probably as close as we’re going to get to an actual AFL match. This is because a lot of the sides are going to have full strength lineups. The main problem with getting the round 4 NAB Challenge tips right is that we can’t really go on past performance in this pre-season games.

Betting tips should improve once we’re able to see how the relative teams are playing in the 2016 AFL season.

I’ve decided to go with Bet365 this week because they’re offering the best odds. Weird that at the time this post went live that William Hill didn’t have any of the Friday’s games odds available. Too bad because this left them out of the betting loop this week.

The teams I’ve decided to back are in red in the table above. You can see a snapshot of my actual bet here. Yes, I actually do place bets with the online sports betting sites that I promote.

Are you placing a bet on any of this weeks NAB Challenge? If so I’d love to hear from you in the comments.

Round 3 NAB Challenge Betting Tips

round 3 NAB Challenge betting tipsAfter my poor effort for last weeks NAB Challenge betting tips I’m hoping I’ll do a lot better for the round 3 NAB Challenge betting tips!

You’ve probably noticed by now that of all the online sports betting sites that I represent there are three that I constantly use. These are;

  1. Bet365
  2. William Hill
  3. SportsBet

There’s a very good reason that they’re my favourite online sports betting sites. They’ve all been tried and tested. They all offer very good odds and most importantly they all have fantastic sports betting apps that make it very easy to place a bet online.

  • Sydney vs GWS Giants @ Drummoyne Oval Sydney Friday March 4th
  • Essendon vs Geelong @ Deakon Reserve Shepparton Saturday 5th March

For some reason Bet365 didn’t have all its bets ready at the time of writing this post. Unfortunately that means I can’t pick them for this weeks multi-bet. It looks like Sportsbet is my tip for this weeks multibet.

When it comes to placing a sports bet I always make sure that I follow my main sports betting rule to never bet more than I can afford to lose. This has always been part of my responsible gambling regime. For me sports betting is all about having fun and to increase the excitement of the sports I love to watch. Multi bets allow me to do that without blowing my betting budget of $10 per week.

For this weeks bet I followed my round 3 NAB Challenge betting tips and placed a dollar on each of my tips. The remaining $4 I placed as a MultiBet. My MultiBet odds were 18.17 and my $4 bet would return $72.68. Add to that  all my individual bets and I’ll win over $82.98. You can see my actual bet here.

In case you’re wondering how they multi bets are worked out this post will explain it all.

What type of bet are you thinking of placing this week?
