Round 12 AFL Footy Tips

As the first AFL Bye for the season passes us by Fortuna amazed me by getting 5 out of the 6 wrong. It was a shame that Port Power let her down by playing dismally otherwise Fortuna would have had a perfect score for the round 11 AFL footy tips. Now it’s time to see what Fortuna has for us in her round 12 footy tips selections.

Round 12 AFL footy tips 2015 Fortuna

As you know this week is the second bye for the season so once again we only have 6 matches to select for this weeks round 12 AFL footy tips.

  • Adelaide vs Hawthorne
  • Richmond vs West Coast
  • Carlton vs Port Adelaide
  • GWS Giants vs North Melbourne
  • Western Bulldogs vs Brisbane
  • Geelong vs Melbourne

What do you think of Fortuna’s round 12 AFL footy tips? Personally I’m not at all sure that Adelaide is going to pull off a win, even though they’re playing at home. I asked Fortuna about it and she only gave me that sly sexy wink of hers. Isn’t that just like a woman? That wink of hers doesn’t give me any confidence at all. This is why I’m not including Adelaide in this weeks Multi Bet.

Bet365 Round 12 Multi Bet

I’ve decided to go with Bet365 again for this weeks MultiBet. This is because I wasn’t able to test it out properly bet365 multi betlast week because of Port Powers unexpected loss last week. Because of Port Powers unreliable performances of late I’m not including them in this weeks multi-bet.

The three teams I have included as part of this weeks multi-bet include

  • Richmond $1.75
  • North Melbourne $1.45
  • Western Bulldogs !.30

As you can see in the image on your right, the multibet odds for this MultiBet is $3.30. My $10 wager, if it wins, will return $32.98. Now it’s just a matter of time to see how this weeks multi-bet pans out. Hopefully Fortuna’s round 12 AFL footy tips will be as good as last week and my multi-bet will turn out to be a winner.

In case you’re interested in the formula they use to work out MultiBet odds you will want to read this post.

What are your footy tips and who will you be using for your MultiBet this week?

Round 10 AFL Footy Tips

Can you believe its round 10 already? That means its time for Fortuna’s Round 10 AFL Footy tips. Fortuna is really doing pretty good with her footy tips scoring another 6 out of 9. I’m hoping her round 10 AFL footy tips are even better this week because I want them to help me win another multi-bet. My last multi bet win was back in round 7. You can read about it here.

  • Fremantle vs Richmond
  • Carlton vs Adelaide
  • Gold Coast vs Sydney
  • Essendon vs Geelong
  • Port Adelaide vs Western Bulldogs
  • GWS Giants vs Brisbane Lions
  • Nth. Melbourne vs West Coast
  • St. Kilda vs Hawthorn
  • Melbourne vs Collingwood

Now that I have Fortuna’s round 10 AFL footy tips it’s time for me to work out my MultiBet. As promised I’m going to place my MultiBet with William Hill instead of Sportsbet.

Round 10 Footy MultiBet Tips

Just remember that I am not suggesting you copy my round 10 MultiBet tips. What you’re about to see is my MultiBet with William Hill. The multi bet you want to place is completely up to you.William Hill Multi-bet

  • Fremantle $1.22
  • Adelaide $1.32
  • Essendon $2.00
  • Port Adelaide $1.26
  • West Coast $1.67

Placing a bet with William Hill was really easy. I simply clicked on the teams I wanted to place a bet on. That placed them all in my ‘betting slip’. I then put a dollar on each on those teams and then clicked ;Create Multi.’ Next I added my $5 stake and the clicked the ‘Confirm Bet’ tab. I was then take to another page so I can check my bets. Once I was happy with those I simply hit the ;Finalise Bet’ link.

If all goes well my $10 bet will return $41.36.

The question now is to find out if William Hill uses the same formula as Sportsbet when calculating the odds for their MultiBet.This post shows how MultiBet odds are worked out. Using that formula I worked the odds to be 6.777. Multiply that by my $5 wager gives me a winning payout of $33.89. Add to that the separate winnings of $7.47 gives me my potential payout of $41.36.

As you can see from the image on the right it agrees with the figure given to me by William Hill. That means they do use the same formula. Now all I have to do is wait and see how accurate my Multi Bet actually is.

Have you done your round 10 AFL footy tips yet? If so how does it compare to mine?

Round 9 Footy Tips Results

I’m sure you will agree that getting those footy tips right isn’t easy. Fortuna’s round 9 footy tips results just goes to prove my points. Even so I think that Fortuna’s round 9 footy tips results was pretty good, considering as how she managed to get 6 out of the 9 right.

The game that really pissed me off was the Western Bulldogs vs GWS Giants. I really thought they would win that game which is why I included it as part of my Sportsbet MultiBet. I never expected them to thump the crap out of the GWS Giants. Of all the times they had to remember how to play football again it had to be then.  :loser:  I forgot to check the game so I didn’t even have the opportunity to use Sportsbet cash out feature. Not that it would have done much good because the thumping started right from the beginning.

The one game that I did get to see and thoroughly enjoy was the Crows vs Fremantle game. I never expected the Crows to win but I sure as hell didn’t expect them to have Fremantle by the throat for the whole game. Talk about an exciting game. No other AFL team has been able to get so close to beating Fremantle so far this season. If they can continue to play this kind of Football they could be a real AFL Finals contender. Shit, I’m starting to sound like a Port Power supporter.  :tongue_out: Speaking of Port Power, did you read my Port Power Fans Bag Port Power post. The video at the end of that post is a killer.

Even though I lost my MultiBet the beauty about MultiBet is that as long as you get some of the teams right it’s not a total loss. Three of my teams managed to win which still netted me $3.29. Probably my worst MultiBet to date but it still minimises my loss. Yep, you just have to love MultBets. I sure hope your round 9 footy tips results were better than our results. As far as MultiBets go, hopefully I’ll do better next week.
