Round 7 Footy Tips Results

Luckily for me I used Fortuna’s round 7 footy tips for my MultiBet with Sportsbet. Once again you can see my Multi-Picks below.Multibet Win

  • Adelaide $1.19
  • GWS Giants $1.50
  • Sydney $1.26
  • Fremantle $1.26
  • Richmond $2.15

I’m so happy to say that this was my first ever Multi Bet win! And man, did it make those games so much more interesting. I probably wouldn’t even have watched half those games if they weren’t a part of my MultiBet!

cashing out on a multi betI have to admit though that out of the games listed above the Richmond vs Collingwood game was the one that had me the most worried. It had to be the most exciting game of round 7, probably because it was the last one in my Multi-Bet legs.

I know I had the Cash Out option available to me and I finally took that option at the end of the 1st half. One thing I did notice, because I checked it several times throughout the match, was that the cash out depended on the scores at the time. If Richmond was down so was the Cash Out value. If Richmond was up so was the amount of Cash Out available.

Naturally I chose to cash out when Richmond was up. You can see the results of Multibet Cash Out there on the right.

As you know Richmond showed Collingwood who was boss and I would have been better off not cashing out. But you know what? I don’t care, it could just as easily have gone the other way and I am more than happy with my Sportsbet Cash Out experience.

Fortuna Round 7 Footy Tips 2015

Man, getting those footy tips right isn’t such an easy task is it? Even Fortuna had a bad week last week. Nowhere near as good as her week 5 footy tips where she got 8 teams out of the nine right. That was pretty damn good!

So let’s see how Fortuna does this week in Fortuna Round 7 Footy Tips.

One of the reasons I started this AFL Footy Tips category is because I needed something to help me win more MultiBets. There are a lot of sites out there who crap on about having the best Muti Bet tips almost guaranteeing you a win. But like I wrote in my last post about MultiBet tips there just isn’t any way anyone can guarantee that. That’s why they call it gambling.

Still, I’m trying my own MultiBet strategy where I pick 5 to six of the 9 teams who I think have the best chance of winning. For my last pick I try and choose a team with better odds so as to increase the overall odds knowing that with Sportsbet I can Cash Out and take whatever I’ve won up to that stage.

AFL Round 7 MultiBet Selection

  • Adelaide $1.19
  • GWS Giants $1.50
  • Sydney $1.26
  • Fremantle $1.26
  • Richmond $2.15

For my MultiBet I placed a dollar on each of those teams. Keeping with my responsible gambling limits that left me $5 for my MultiBet which increased my odds to $6.09 returning $30.46 for a win. How did I come to those figures? I’m so glad you asked.

How MultiBet Odds Are Worked Out

The way they work out the MultiBet odds is really quite simple. First thing you do is you multiple each of the above odds together. 1.19 x 1.50 x 1.26 x 1.26 x 2.15 = 6.09 Simple right. So if you multiply those odds by my $5 wager a winning bet would net me a cool $30.46. That’s a whole lot more than I could win from betting on any single team, but then it’s a lot harder to win a MultiBet.

The image above shows the two steps involved in finalising my MultiBet. You may be wondering why my estimated returns is higher than the MultiBet win I mentioned in the paragraph above. The reason for that is the individual wins for each leg of the MultiBet is added to the total winning bet. That’s another reason why I like MultiBets so much.

MultiBet Tipping Strategy

MultiBet tipping strategyI’ve been playing around with MultiBets for a couple of weeks now and there are a couple of things that I have found out. The first thing is that I love MultiBets. The other thing is that I need some sort of MultiBet tipping strategy!

MultiBet Tipping Strategy Isn’t Easy

Truth be told though that no matter what anyone will tell you coming up with a winning MultiBet strategy would be next to impossible. Take the last MultiBet that I placed with Sportsbet last week. My MultiBet tipping strategy for that bet was to pick what I thought were sure winners for the first few bets so that I could ‘Cash Out‘ if things started to look sour. That’s why I tipped Western Bulldogs, Sydney, Fremantle, Hawthorn, the Crows and Carlton. I figured at least the first five would come in and I would be able to cash out with Carlton if they looked like losing. As it was the Western Bulldogs lost, who would have thunk it, and I lost another MultiBet.

That’s the trouble with betting on sports, any type of sport, no bet can ever be a sure thing.

That’s why I use my online sports bets to enhance my sports watching experience. That’s why I’m so glad I discovered Multi Bets.

As you all know I’m all about responsible gambling. That’s why I only ever bet $10 per week on any given sport. The trouble with that is I don’t get that extra kick from watching some of those other games. Those Multi-Bets make those extra games more exciting without upsetting my responsible gambling rules. Now I can enhance the enjoyment factor of six of my favourite sports games instead of just one. Naturally if one of those MultiBets actually paid off that would make the experience that much sweeter.
