Easy Betting Sites Where To Find Them

easy betting sitesI love WordPress, that’s the platform I use for ezesportsbetting.com, because there are so many plugins available for it. If you’re wanting to start your own blog I can set you one up for free. Anyway, one such plugin shows me what terms people are using to get to this blog. One of the more popular search terms is “Easy Betting Sites.” This tells me that ease of use of online sports betting is an important issue for many present and future punters.

Which Are The Easy Betting Sites

Those who are regular readers know that I am a relatively newbie when it comes to online sports betting. I actually use to be one of those who was searching for easy sports betting sites. One of the reasons for starting easysportsbetting.com was because I wasn’t all that impressed with what was out there. Most of the sites I visited didn’t have, what I believed to be, honest reviews of the sports betting sites that they were promoting.

That was when I decided to come up with this blog so I can join some of the online sports betting sites in order to test them out. Once I ran them through their paces I would write my personal review of them.

I wouldn’t join just any site though in my search for easy betting sites. Nope, that would be stupid. First they had to fulfil certain criteria. They had to be around for several years. This was important because I knew that shady sports betting sites just wouldn’t survive that long. I also made sure that there weren’t any rally bad reviews that would turn me against such sites. It was only once I was satisfied that I joined them in order to give them the old test run.

Some of those reviews include;

  • Sportingbet Review: I’m pretty sure they were the first online sport betting site I joined. I liked the fact they used PayPal and that they actually were a really easy betting site. I even produced a video showing everyone exactly how easy it was placing a bet using their app.
  • Bet365 Review: Then there was my bet365 review. I liked bet365 because they’ve been around for ages and because they were serious about their attitude to responsible gambling. While I found their sport betting app easy to use I found their overly green colour theme a little bland.
  • SportsBet Review: Then came Sportsbet. I decided to check out Sportsbet because of all the TV commercials on how easy their sporting bet app was. That commercial made them look like one of the truly easy betting sites. They weren’t far wrong either.

To date they are the only ones that I have joined and actually use. I’ve found joining more than one online betting sites very handy. One reason is because I can shop around to get the best odds. Another reason when one site is down, which has actually happened, I can still place a sports bet via one of the other sites.

I even did a sports bet app review to see who had the best sports betting app. I thought I would throw that one in because it really fits in with the easy betting site theme.

AFL Grand Final Placing A Winning Bet

In my post last week about getting the best odds I spoke about how the earlier you placed your bet the better the odds. In my experience this is normally the case. You may well remember my post where I spoke about the Port Power and Crows Rivalry and why I placed a bet on Port Power to win the game against Fremantle. I placed that bet hoping it would put a hex on the Power causing them to lose. Unfortunately they won. On the plus side I did win the bet.  :tongue_out:

Not to be deterred I backed Port Power against Hawthorne in last weeks game. Finally the hex cut in causing Port Power to lose. Even though I lost the bet I, as a Crows fan, came out a winner.

Placing A Winning Bet On The AFL Grand Final

AFL Grand Final Winning BetGetting on with the job about placing a winning bet on the AFL Grand Final I should have followed my own advice and placed the bet last week. Last week the odds for Sydney to win was $2.20. Today when I placed the bet with Sportsbet it was only $1.60. I figured after voting their app the best sports betting app I may as well take it through to actual completion. All I can say is that I loved it. These sports betting apps make placing a bet online so simple. The Sportsbet app was that little bit better than the other to.

Of course I’m hoping that this time around I’m not putting a hex on Sydney and that Lady Luck will be smiling on us and that Sydney does win the AFL Grand Final. As I’ve always said though, when it comes to picking the winner there is no sure bet. The only time you can be assured a win is if the game is fixed. We sure as hell don’t want that crap happening around here.

Even though Sydney are favourites in the AFL Final, Hawthorne could very well pull off a win. That will make all those punters backing Hawthorne really happy. Yep, really happy considering the $2.40 odds. Odds that only dropped 5 cents from last week.

Who do you think will win the 2015 AFL Grand Final?

Comparing Sports Betting To Other Gambling Types

There are many types of gambling available to the avid gambler on the internet. Some have a better probability of a winning outcome than others. I reckon that sports betting offers a better chance of winning than most other forms of gambling. Let’s have a look at some of those others before we compare it to sports betting.

  • Lotteries: The probability of winning any given lottery all depends on how many numbers are in the draw and how many winning numbers you need to to win the lottery. Take our Saturday XLotto as an example. You need to get 6 numbers right out of 45 numbers. Your chances of winning that lottery is 1 in 8,145,060! You can work out the chanced of winning any given lottery at WebMath. Yet millions of people buy lottery tickets every day. Why? Because the initial investment is minimal and because you never know if the next ticket you buy will be the winning one.
  • Slot Machines: The odds in winning the jackpot in slot machines, or pokies as they’re known over here, is even worse. According to this article it’s one in 17 million! There’s also this rumour where the payout is just around the corner. So if you can get on one that hasn’t had a win in a while you have more chance in winning. Well, according to this site that is utter bullshit. I don’t know what it is, perhaps its the lights and sounds, but some players get quite addicted to playing the pokies losing all their money on them.  :no-no:
  • Poker (Texas Hold’Em): Not as bad as the lotteries or the pokies but poker doesn’t offer the best odds for the casual punter.

Sports Betting And The Probability Of Winning

Sports Betting Probability

When talking about sports betting I’m referring to those sports where there are only two teams playing. Like soccer, AFL, NFL, hockey, tennis and the like. Even if you know absolutely nothing about any particular sport you have a 50/50 chance of winning. I have found in soccer though that there are times when you think you’ve won but you actually lost. I wrote about it in the post When A Win Is Not A Win. Soccer is weird that way. In soccer you can even increase your chances of winning by taking advantage of the double chance bet.

Usually though in sports betting either one team wins or the other one does. That is unless of course they draw in which case everyone loses except for the bookies. Kind of like flipping a coin and it lands on its edge.

The good thing about sports betting is that knowing the all the ins and outs of the game, the teams and the venues etc give the smart punter even more of a winning chance. So that 50/50 probability can be tipped in the punters favour. Unfortunately in gambling nothing is 100%. That is why there’s always a chance of an upset when sports betting. This is why you need to be a responsible gambler and never bet more than you can lose.
