Easy sports betting Bet Of The Week A weekly easy sports betting My personal bet

Showdown Sunday Bet Of The Week

Yep, it’s going to be another Showdown this Sunday and what better game to feature this weeks bet of the week. For those of you who don’t know, every time the Crows play Port Power it’s called a Showdown. I have to admit the Crows haven’t been playing well of late and the Power has. Also the Power have won the last few showdowns But even though it looks bad for the Crows, I’m still putting my money on them.

Showdown Sunday For The Crows

You’re probably wondering what I’m doing backing the Adelaide Crows to win this weeks Showdown. I could say I had a gut feeling, at least I could use indigestion as an excuse when or if they lose. 😀Showdown Sunday

The fact that David Mackay will not be playing this week, being concussed from last weeks game against Essendon, will make winning that much harder But shit, miracles happen right.

Plus there is the fact that it’s an Adelaide Crows home game, giving us the home advantage. You have to admit, the guys are going to need all the help they can get. You’d hope that they would realise that a loss would almost kill any chance of getting into the top eight as well. Maybe that will be enough to fire them up so they actually win this Showdown.

I know they have it in them to win. They just have to believe in themselves enough to carry them over the line.

As you can see from the image on the right I’ve gone with bet365 for this weeks wager. Not as colourful as the Sportingbet app but every bit as functional.

Just to make things interesting I decided to split the way I spent my ten bucks this week.

Adelaide by 25+: I placed a buck for Adelaide to win by more than 25 points. Yeah, I know I’m dreaming. But, if it becomes a reality I’ll win $9.

Adelaide by 16+: Just hedging my bets, so in case they win my more than 16 points I’ll win $6. Of course if they get more than 25 points both bets will win.

Adelaide by 1-24: I’m thinking this means I win if they’re win falls into the 1-24 points range. Hopefully they’ll do that so I can see how this works. 😉

The second to last one is a $5 bet for a win. C’mon guys, you know you can do it!!!

The last one. Well, that has nothing to do with the Showdown. You see, I also happen to support Central Districts in the SANFL and I’m hoping they’ll kick the Redlegs ass. 😉

Did you notice the ‘Cash Out’ option that appears at the bottom of each of my bets. I wasn’t sure what the hell that was so I just had to find out. It seems to be special feature for bet365 members.

bet365 Cash Out Option

The Cash Out feature gives you more control over your bets and allows you to take a return before the event has started.

Traditionally, once your bet has been placed you would have to sit back and wait for it to be settled. With our new feature you now have the opportunity to monitor your selections and Cash Out at a point of your choice.

The amount offered will be dependent on how your bet is progressing and could be of a higher or lower value than your original stake. This allows you to take a profit if your bet is doing well, or minimise any potential loss should you think any upcoming selections are unlikely to result in a win.

Cash Out is available on selected pre-match markets on single and multiple bets, for a variety of sports including Australian Rules Football, Soccer, Tennis and Basketball.

How to Cash Out

Bets that are eligible for Cash Out will display in the My Bets section of your Bet Slip – and using Cash Out could not be easier.

Simply place your single or multiple bet, then monitor the My Bets section of your Bet Slip to see the amount being offered to Cash Out early. Should you decide to take this option all you need to do is click on the Cash Out button located beneath your selections.

The amount at which you decide to Cash Out is then fixed, the bet is settled and the final result relating to your bet will have no impact on the amount returned to your account.

Now you now this weeks bet of the week and what the bet365 Cash Out option is all about. Who are you placing your bet on this week?

Oh, before you go, did you see my latest Hot Sport Babes post. It’s sort of AO and NSFW type of post but I kind of like it 🙂

Australia vs Spain World Cup Bet Of The Week

On my last bet of the week I placed a wager on the England vs Italy World Cup game. As it turns out I won that bet. For this weeks Australia vs Spain World Cupbet of the week, seeing as how the World Cup fever is still going strong, I placed a wager on Australia to beat Spain in the up and coming World Cup Game.

I know that just about everybody thinks that Australia is going to lose that game, especially because Tim Cahill isn’t playing. That’s why the odds are so high, which makes for a pretty good win if the Socceroos manage to pull it off. Still, I think that Australia has been playing a lot better than Spain so, regardless of what everybody else thinks, I reckon they have a pretty good chance.

An Aussie Win In Australia vs Spain match?

These are my reason why I reckon the Aussies will win in the Australia vs Spain match. When Spain played the Netherlands they got thumped 5 -1. When they played Chile they lost 2 – 0.

Now lets look at how the Socceroos went. When they played the Netherlands they lost 3 -2. It was an exhilarating game. When they played Chile the Aussies lost 3 -1. All in all it’s my opinion that the Aussies were the better players when compared to how the Spanish played. I reckon if they can only keep up their good form they have a chance at winning that game.

How I Bet On The Australia vs Spain game.

So, lets have a look at my Sportingbet (check out their $700 free bet offer) screenshot to see exactly how I placed my bets on this weeks bet of the week.

  • Australia vs Spain 2nd both to score: I place a buck on both teams to score in the second half. If that becomes a reality I’ll win $3.10
  • Australia vs Spain first team to score: I put a dollar on that nobody will score. This is entirely possible in soccer. If nobody scores throughout the game I’ll win $17.
  • Australia vs Spain to win: Finally I placed five bucks on the Aussies to win. A win will get me $36.75 That alone will do me 😉

The most I can win is $39.85, if option 1 and 3 come in. This would be pretty good considering I only outlaid seven bucks. Even if the second one came about I’d still get $17.

Didn’t place a double chance bet on this game because I didn’t like the odds.

Did you place a bet on the Australia vs Spain game. If you did which way did you go.

England vs Italy World Cup Bet Of The Week

In last weeks Bet Of The Week I placed a wager on the Adelaide Crows vs Fremantle games. Those of you who read the post know that I placed my bet on the Adelaide Crows to win. The post gave all my reasons for doing so. I knew it was a long shot, seeing as how it paid so well, but I was sure that the Crows had a good chance of winning. Looks like I was wrong and Fremantle was too good for them. If it wasn’t for their inaccuracy they would have absolutely slaughtered the Crows.

That was last week. This week we have a new Bet Of The Week. I thought because the World Cup was upon us I’d choose one of the World Cup matches as this weeks Bet Of The Week. The problem was which one to choose. As it turns out I was asked if I wanted to join a group watching the England vs Italy World Cup game. Sounded like a good idea. As you know it’s a lot more exciting watching any sport when you’re around a group of people. More so than watching it all alone.

England vs Italy World Cup – Who Will Win?

OK guys, you’ve probably worked out by now that a lot of the time I vote with my heart when placing a bet. Being of Italian decent England vs Italy oddscause me to want to back Italy. That is of course unless Italy plays Australia in which case national pride overrules any blood ties. 😉

The question now is who will I use to place my bet. In the Crows Fremantle game I used bet365 so I figured this time around I’d give Sportingbet a go. Too bad I can’t take advantage of their Sportingbet $700 Free Bet Promotion for new members. Unfortunately this offer is not available for certain states in Australia. Remind me to do a post on that later.

Of the two sports betting apps I’m currently using I find the Sportingbet app a lot easier to use. If I can find an app to record my actual movements on the iPhone I’ll do a video to show you just how easy it is to place a bet using the Sportingbet app.

OK, let’s examine the screenshot of my wages that I did manage to take. As you can see I’m sticking to my gambling budget, just like I outlined in my post about the World Cup and responsible gambling. I also placed a Double Chance sports bet. If you’re not sure what a double chance sports bet is you can read about it in my Double Chance explained post.

Sticking to my sports betting budget I split my $10 wage by placing $5 on a double chance on England or Italy to win. So I lose if the game turns out to be a draw. And a straight bet on Italy to win. So if Italy loses I’ll still manage to win something.

Are you going to place a bet on the England vs Italy World Cup game? If so which way are you going?
