AFL Round 13 Results 2017 Unlucky Round 13

If you thought that round 12 was bad that was nothing compared to AFL round 13 results 2017! Shit! maybe I should have stayed away from round 13, the number 13 being so unlucky and all. Truth be told I’ve never believed in 13 being unlucky but after those AFL round 13 results 2017 I may have to change my way of thinking

Enough with the melodramatic bullshit, lets check out Fortuna’s AFL round 13 results 2017.

AFL Round 13 Results 2017

The only tip we got right was the Port Power game and that was a no brainer. The odds on that game was so bad that it wasn’t worth betting on. With tips like that it goes without saying that it was another losing bet week! I’m having a few of those lately and hoping like hell that I can turn it around next week.

Most Important Lesson From Round 13

So, can we learn anything from round 13? This article seems to think so saying we can actually learn six things from round 13. For me, round 13 of the 2017 AFL season reaffirms the importance of responsible gambling. After a few losses you may be tempted to double up on your bets in an effort to get your money back. My advice to you is DON’T! This round just goes to show how unreliable sports betting can be. Trying to win your money back by increasing your bets is the worst thing you can do and is how gamblers get stuck in a horrifying downward spiral. One that can ruin their lives, bringing loved ones down with them.

The best thing to do is to put unlucky round 13 behind you and look forward to better rounds of AFL in the future. If you’re a responsible gambler, as I am, these unlucky rounds, while annoying, don’t affect you much because you know you can afford to lose that money. For punters like us, placing a bet is all about increasing the excitement of the AFL. Any win is a bonus but losses are like water falling off a ducks back.

If you’re wondering how your teams would be graded in round 13 the best article I’ve come across is FoxSport’s Round 13 Report Card. Now it’s onto round 14. Lets hope we do a lot better in that round.

AFL Round 12 Results 2017 Horror Of 2017 Footy

No bullshit, the AFL round 12 results of 2017 is truly the horror round of 2017 footy tipping. Talk about getting it wrong, Fortuna really stuffed up her footy tips for round 12! It’s even worse than the AFL round 7 results 2017 which had uspets galore!

Fortuna’s AFL Round 12 Results 2017 Horror Footy Tipping

AFL round 12 2017 results

The AFL Round 12 2017 horror footy tips results all started with the Sydney vs Western Bulldogs game. I did say in the round 12 tipping post that I was unsure about that particular. I also mentioned in the same post I wouldn’t back Hawthorn because “Hawthorn have let me down too many times for me to have faith in backing them in a multi, at least for this week anyway.” And yet for some stupid reason the Hawthorn game was the first leg of my multi! What was with that anyway? What the hell was I thinking?

Lesson learned! Always check your bets before finalising them!

As far as the Sydney vs Western Bulldogs game, that was always going to be a close one. According to the odds being offered even the punters thought so. However, according to Fox Sports, it all had to do with, “IT WAS a tactic that started before the first bounce.

A plethora of Swans beelined Norm Smith Medal winner Jason Johannisen, singling him out as their target for the night.

The push and shove was relentless. And it didn’t give up until the final siren.”

Sort of makes you wonder how targeting one player can make all the difference doesn’t it? They did the same thing with the Crows Sloane.

The Saints targeted Rory again in the Friday night game but this time the Crows managed a resounding win. According to Pyke, the Crows aren’t worried about the Sloane problem.

Essendon Have Jets On Bombing Out Powers Lights

As far as Port Power goes they were the definite favourites over Essendon. As Essendon possibly played their best quarter this season it just goes to show you can never go into a game half cocked. Do that and you give the opposition a head start that you can never recover from.

All that’s left now is the Melbourne vs Collingwood game. There’s still 9 minutes in the game with Melbourne leading the way with a 4 point lead. It’s anybody’s game at this point. Don’t you love it when it’s such a close game? Although I have to admit, these nail biters can be quite stressful :bash:

As it turns out the fans go wild as Melbourne’s Jack Watts kicks a goal in the final minutes of the game. The roar would lift the roof if had one. Only seconds left and we get another tip right.

AFL Round 11 Results 2017

What can I say but I expected more from Fortuna’s AFL round 11 results 2017! Why don’t we have a look at the AFL round 11 results 2017 before I go discussing them.

Fortuna’s AFL Round 11 Results 2017

AFL round 11 results 2017As you can see the mighty Adelaide Crows weren’t so bloody hot in the AFL round 11 results 2017. I have to admit that I was a bit apprehensive in including them in my tips but I honestly thought they would break the 14 year hoodoo of playing at Simonds stadium. Alas, they played like shit and let fans and punters alike down. The problem as I saw it was that they weren’t playing as a cohesive team. Not everyone was putting 100% in and at this stage of the game if you want to win you have to put in 110%!!

Chris McDermott said it best when he said The Crows Had Too Many Passengers! Unfortunately for us Geelong did that and they won the game.

Then it was the Gold Coast vs Coast game. You can tell from the odds in that game that even the punters thought that the Eagles should have won that game. Unfortunately they lost and Fortuna struck out again in her tips. The AFL site reckons there 5 Talking Points about that game.

Finally, the last of the losing games was the Fremantle vs Collingwood game. That was a home game for the Dockers and should have been a win under their belt. What happened? Did Collingwood play that well or did the Dockers under perform and gave away a win? According to the ABC headlines the Dockers put on a Horrific Display. They go on to say though that Collingwood put on a “gutsy” effort. Maybe it was one of those games where the Dockers thought they had an easy win and just weren’t prepared for a switched on Collingwood.

So, what does all this teach us? That you just never know when it comes to sports betting and enforces why we should always gamble responsibly. Losing bets suck :bash:
