AFL Grand Final 2016

This Saturday the MCG will be hosting the AFL Grand Final for 2016! I was pretty wrapped with last week when my bet on the Western Bulldogs paid off. Out of the two matches that was played last week the Western Bulldogs vs Giants game was by far the most exciting. As far as the Sydney vs Geelong match goes, the fact that Sydney dominated most of it pretty well killed it for me. It was almost a repeat of the Sydney vs Crows game.

I’m really hoping that the Doggies can bring it up to the Swans early on in the first quarter. If they don’t, if the Swans get away from them I feel that it could be another repeat of their last two games.

Sportsbet AFL Grand Finals best bet

What you see above is Sportsbet‘s latest special. So, if you place a bet and win Sportsbet will double your winnings.

You know, that’s such a great deal that I’m not even going to see what odds the other online bookies are offering. I did check to see if they were offering any specials but I could find any. :pull_hair:

So, Sportsbet gets the business, now all I need to do is work out who to back as AFL Grand Finals Winners! As most of you know when it comes to AFL Finals its almost anyone’s game. Sure Sydney are the favourites but that doesn’t rule the Doggies out.

I’ve decided to back the Doggies at $2.45. I’m hoping they will bring home the Grand Finals cup. Speaking about wanting needing to win your bet, there’s this bloke that placed $370,000 on Sydney to beat the Western Bulldogs! Man, wouldn’t he feel like shit if the Swans lost! I sure as heck couldn’t put up with the stress having that much riding on a bet. Not unless I had millions of dollars in my bank account. Even then it seems like a bit over the top.

So, who are you going to put your money on in this years AFL Grand Finals. Speaking of bets, you ccan see proof of my bet here.

AFL Preliminary Finals 2016 Tips

How many folk out there were surprised by last weeks fight for the 2016 AFL Finals results? The only one that really surprised me was that the Doggies beat the Hawks. I’m sure no-one was more surprised than  the Hawks?

As for the Sydney vs Adelaide game, as much as I wanted the Crows to win the Swans were just to good for them. It wouldn’t have been so bad if the Crows had put up a half decent fight but one quarter of finals football just isn’t good enough.

Of the two matches I reckon the Bulldogs vs Hawthorn one was the most exciting. That is what football finals is all about. I’m sad to say that the Crows effort was just not finals material.

As for the betting, if you read my last post you would know that I lucked out on both games.

Talking about a really hot post, you should definitely check out my Kiira Korbi Hot Sports Babe post. :drunk:

Once again Fortuna would like to stress to everybody that betting on finals footy should always be done responsibly. Unless you can afford to lose the bet don’t bet at all. Finals or not you should never bet more than you can lose.

Naturally, before anyone can place a bet on this weeks AFL Preliminary Finals tips we need to check out who has the best odds.

Now that I have the best odds I’ve decided to back the Western Bulldogs with Sportsbet. This is partly because they’re offering great odd but mainly because of their cashback offer. This is their AFL finals cashback offer where you get your money back, up to $50, if you team loses my 18 points or less.

Sure, that hasn’t paid off for me yet because the losses have all been more than that, but I reckon I have to be lucky once, right. :pull_hair:  😉

Anyway, I reckon the Doggies have what it takes to pull it off. Especially after putting the Hawks away.

AFL Round 23 Tips 2016

Fortuna's AFL Round 23 Tips 2016Fortuna’s AFL Round 23 Tips 2016

I’ve been a little stressed the last few weeks. So much so you may have noticed some mistakes in the images accompanying some of my posts. Today is no different. If anything I’m even more strapped for time, so I won’t have enough time to gather the best AFL odds for you this week.

What’s really pissed me off is that I missed another chance at winning the Million Dollar Tipping competition. Sure I would have missed out anyway because my tips were a little off  :tongue_out: but knowing I forget was pissing me off. I won’t do that this week.

At least I’ve still got Fortuna’s AFL round 23 footy tips for 2016.

  • *Adelaide Crows vs West Coast (Adelaide)
  • Geelong vs Melbourne (Simonds)
  • Essendon vs *Carlton (MCG)
  • Sydney vs Richmond (SCG)
  • Gold Coast vs Port Adelaide (Metricon)
  • Nth Melbourne vs *GWS Giants (Etihad)
  • St Kilda vs Brisbane (Etihad)
  • *Hawthorn vs Collingwood (MCG)
  • Fremantle vs *Western Bulldogs (Domain)

This is where I usually give you the best sports betting odds offered by my top three online sports betting sites. Not today though because, as I mentioned at the beginning of the post, I just don’t have the time.

I did have the time to place a multi-bet though using Sportsbet. Just to be different I placed ten bucks on the teams with an Asterix next to their name. A win will put $44.79 into my sports betting bankroll!

That’s it for my AFL Round 23 Tips! I wish you all the luck in the world with your sports bets. Just as a matter of interest, who have you backed this week?
