2017 AFL Finals Tips Week 1

Are you ready for the 2017 AFL Finals Tips Week 1? I’ve decided to post the 2017 AFL Finals Tips Week 1 this week even though its a bye week and the finals won’t actually start until next week. I figured may as well considering as how Fortuna had already dropped them off. Who knows, maybe she wanted to get the 2017 AFL Finals Tips Week 1 out of the way because she’s got something else on?

2017 AFL Finals Tips Week 1

  • Adelaide Crows vs GWS Giants (Adelaide)
  • Geelong vs Richmond (SGC)
  • Port Power vs West Coast (Adelaide)
  • Sydney vs Essendon (SCG)

I’m so excited that Finals footy is finally here. It’s especially exciting because the Adelaide Crows have finished on top of the ladder. The question is whether or not they can actually manage to win the 2017 AFL grand final.

It’s been 19 years since the Crows winning back to back premierships in 1998. This weeks marks the Crows 30th finals. Check out this post for a complete history of the Crows finals attempts.

But enough of that! It’s time to have a look at which of my favourite sports betting sites is offering the best AFL finals odds. For those of you new to ezesportsabetting I recommend and use SportsbetWilliam Hill and Bet365. Being a member of three of the top sports betting sites allows me to always get the best odds as well as taking advantage of the many online sports betting specials they have on offer.

Looking at those odds and Fortuna’s finals tips for week one I’ve decided to put my money on West Coast to beat Port Power. Why? Well, for the life of me I can’t work out why Port Power are the favourites. If you read my last post you know that I hinted at the Power having a hard time of winning against West Coast.

I just have a funny feeling about this game. Usually if I back Port Power they go and stuff me up by losing. This time I’ve going with my gut and going along with Fortuna’s tips and backing the Eagles. Besides, those odds are pretty good too.

As far as sports betting sites go, I’m going with Sportsbet because of the Sportsbet 24 Up, You Win promotion.

Too bad the Sportsbet Million dollar tipping competition is over for this year, at least for the AFL. You can still try your luck with the NRL Sportsbet Million Dollar Tipping competition.

Who, are you going to back in the up and coming week one of the AFL finals? As for me, you can see my bet here.

AFL Round 13 Tips 2017

Fortuna’s AFL Round 13 Tips 2017

Before we look at AFL round 13 tips 2017 i want to say, wasn’t last weeks tipping results a real shocker? If you want to brag about your tips last week just leave a comment. I know there are some tipsters out there who say they did really well but I reckon that was more arse than class. Most footy fans that I spoke to said round 12 was one of the worst rounds they’ve come up against.

As far as I’m concerned these bye weeks absolutely suck. It’s just throwing a spanner in the works and stuffing up how all the results are playing out.

Let’s hope that Fortuna’s AFL round 13 tips 2017 work out a lot better and get us back on track.

Those of you who follow this blog know that my favourite online betting sites are Sportsbet, William Hill and Bet365. You should also consider Unibet as part of your online sports betting arsenal..

This week I’ve decided to go with William Hill because they’re offering the best odds and because I’ve decided not to get a best AFL oddsmulti-bet which has been a Sportsbet favourite because of the money back deal if you get only one leg wrong in 4+ multi’s.

Keeping with my responsible gambling I’ve decided to back three teams, 3 bucks on Geelong, 3 on Nth. Melbourne and the remaining 4 bucks on Richmond. Hopefully I’ll get them all right but even if I get one wrong I should get more than my original bet.

You can see proof of my bet with William Hill in that image over there on the right.

Million Dollar Tipping Genius

Finally I need to place my tips with Sportsbet’s Million Dollar Tipping competition! According to Sportsbet, “One GENIUS managed to tip all 7 winners throughout this ridiculous round of upsets, and with a margin of 1pt was able to take home the Weekly Prize!” So that lucky tipster took home a cool $5000! Hopefully, it will be my turn this week.

AFL Round 5 2017 Results

While Fortuna’s AFL Round 5 2017 Results wasn’t perfect its still pretty bloody good. Like the round 4 results Fortuna got 8 right again. Out of the 5 rounds Fortuna has managed 3 rounds where she’s got 8 out of 9 right. While she still hasn’t got the perfect round yet I reckon she’s still doing pretty good.

Before we go any further lets have a look at Fortuna’s AFL Round 5 2017 Results.

Fortuna's AFL Round 5 2017 Results

As you can see in the AFL Round 5 2017 Results above the only game that let us down was the Hawthorn vs West Coast match. Trust the Hawks to pick round 5 to finally decide to play. Naturally we all knew that the Hawks had to break their drought sooner or later but in this case I would have preferred that had done it later. Why? Because they were part of my multi-bet. Oh well, lucky for me I’m a responsible gambler. 😎

The Roar has a nice match review of that particular game. It seems they feel it’s not that the Hawks played well so much as West Coast played dismally. Then again, West Coast doesn’t usually perform well at the MCG. The Age even go so far as calling it the MCG Hoodoo!

Round 5 2017 Highlights

Another highlight for me was the Crows vs Gold Coast game. Fox Sports professional view is the Crows actually do have a credible midfield. The question is can they pull off a win against the undefeated Richmond. Jack Riewoldt doesn’t believe the Crows can win. I hope the home advantage can overcome the few injuries the Crows have picked up of late.

Essendon beating Collingwood in the Anzac Day match today sure proved to be very popular with the fans. Read a goal per goal update of the match on the Guardian.
