Adelaide Crows Nab Challenge Debut

Man, I’m so happy that the Footy season is about to start again. Even though it’s only the NAB Challenge it’s better than no Footy at all! The first game takes place this Thursday, February 26th at 7:10pm. Hawthorne will be taking on Collingwood at Aurora Stadium in Tasmania. For the full 2015 NAB Challenge fixture you’d best go to the official AFL site.

Being a Crows fan I’m more interested in their match this Sunday against North Melbourne. It’s going to be played at Port Lincoln’s Centenary Oval. The Adelaide Football Club (AFC) recommends members to buy tickets in advance because they expect the game to sell out.

I was thinking to myself, “Wow a sell out for the Adelaide Crows NAB Challenge debut. How good is that?” That was before I found out that the Centenary Oval capacity was 6000. One would think not a huge amount but when you consider that the Port Lincoln population, according to the 2006 Census, was a little over 14000, that’s a really good turn out. So, like the AFC says, you want a ticket you’d better jump to it.

I won’t be going to the game but I will be watching it on TV. Something else I really would like to do is to place a bet on the Crows beating North Melbourne. I asked Lady Luck what she thought about me placing a bet and she gave me the thumbs up by pointing to Sportsbet. The question now is which online sporting site to use.

Bet365 was my first choice but after firing up the app I was really disappointed because they only offered the Hawthorn vs Collingwood match.  :dunno: I tried several ways to try and locate the Adelaide Crows game to no avail.

Next I tried the William Hill. This one fired up easily and finding the odds on the Adelaide Crows NAB Challenge game against North Melbourne was a cinch.

Finally I tried the Sportsbet app. Like William Hill it was really easy to find the odds on this game. The question now is who is offering the best odds?

As you can see William Hill’s odds were slightly better as far as the Crows goes and so I put $10 on the Crows to win. Stay tuned to see whether or not Lady Luck got this call right.

What about you guys. Which game has you all excited? Also who are you going to back if you’re going to place a bet on the Adelaide vs Nth Melbourne game?
