NAB Challenge Round 4 Results

I’m sure that everyone is happy that the NAB Challenge is finally over and that we now have the actual AFL 2016 season to look forward to. We still have the NAB Challenge Round 4 Results to get out of the way.

NAB Challenge Round 4 Results Not Bad

NAB Challenge Round 4 results

As far was the NAB Challenge round 4 results go I reckon I did pretty damn good. As you can see from the image below I only got three wrong. Unfortunately one of those was part of my Bet365 multi-bet. To make matters work it was the first bloody leg of my multi-bet.

I put a link to that multi-bet on NAB Challenge round 4 tips post. I do that in all posts where I say that I’ve placed a bet. That way, anybody who happens to read those posts know I don’t just talk about placing bets with those online sports betting sites. I actually do use them to place sports bets. How else can you promote anything unless you’ve actually used them?

Even though Richmond cost me my multi-bet I’m sure they’re felling pretty bad because of all the injuries they received playing Port Power. Fox Sports had a pretty good writeup of that match.

Who Won The NAB Challenge 2016

The question now is who won the NAB Challenge 2016? The answer as to who won the NAB Challenge is that there are actually 3 winners because three teams got through the NAB Challenge 2016 without losing a game. Those teams are Fremantle, Melbourne and Collingwood. If you were going to go by percentage then Fremantle would be crowned the NAB Challenge winners.

I honestly didn’t expect Melbourne to be there, but then it is only preseason after all.

You can see the full 2016 NAB Challenge ladder here.

Round 3 NAB Challenge Betting Tips

round 3 NAB Challenge betting tipsAfter my poor effort for last weeks NAB Challenge betting tips I’m hoping I’ll do a lot better for the round 3 NAB Challenge betting tips!

You’ve probably noticed by now that of all the online sports betting sites that I represent there are three that I constantly use. These are;

  1. Bet365
  2. William Hill
  3. SportsBet

There’s a very good reason that they’re my favourite online sports betting sites. They’ve all been tried and tested. They all offer very good odds and most importantly they all have fantastic sports betting apps that make it very easy to place a bet online.

For some reason Bet365 didn’t have all its bets ready at the time of writing this post. Unfortunately that means I can’t pick them for this weeks multi-bet. It looks like Sportsbet is my tip for this weeks multibet.

When it comes to placing a sports bet I always make sure that I follow my main sports betting rule to never bet more than I can afford to lose. This has always been part of my responsible gambling regime. For me sports betting is all about having fun and to increase the excitement of the sports I love to watch. Multi bets allow me to do that without blowing my betting budget of $10 per week.

For this weeks bet I followed my round 3 NAB Challenge betting tips and placed a dollar on each of my tips. The remaining $4 I placed as a MultiBet. My MultiBet odds were 18.17 and my $4 bet would return $72.68. Add to that  all my individual bets and I’ll win over $82.98. You can see my actual bet here.

In case you’re wondering how they multi bets are worked out this post will explain it all.

What type of bet are you thinking of placing this week?

Sports Betting Is Illegal In India

Here’s something you may not know, sports betting is illegal in India! Apparently, according to the BBC the only form of sports betting allowed in India is horse racing. This means millions of Indians are missing out on being able to place a bet on cricket, their favourite sport. At least those who wish to do it legally! Who knows how many millions of Indians are doing it illegally by ringing their bookies and placing bets by phones.

How about the millions of Indians are placing bets online via the many legitimate online betting sites. Online sports betting sites like William HillSportsbetBet365 and UniBet. Should the Indian government be legalising online sports betting in their country.

Sports Betting Is Illegal In India Should This Change?

sports betting is illegal in IndiaMany say that it’s because sports betting is illegal in India that there are so many problems in the sports betting industry. Many say that legalising it would remove a lot of the criminal content in sports betting. Stuff like what went on in tennis matches not so long ago.

There are benefits for the Indian Government too, like their share of sports betting money. Most gamblers would probably be happy if they legalised sports gambling and wouldn’t mind paying a portion of the bet to the government. The only gamblers who won’t want sports betting legalised are the crooked ones and the ones trying to whitewash their dirty money.

Personally, I believe that legalising it would be a good thing. I know protagonists will say that it would be bad for problem gamblers but then they’d probably be using illegal avenues to place their bets anyway. And those crooked bookies wouldn’t give a shit how badly in debt they would get. There’s more of a chance that legalising sports betting in those countries where its now illegal would also have processes in place to help those problem gamblers.

What’s your view on illegal sports betting?
