What really pisses me off about the AFL round 21 2017 results is that, once again, we got the first round wrong. The reason it pisses me off is because it stuffed up my Sportsbet Million Dollar Tipping competition right from the start. It wouldn’t be so bad if it was closer to the end of the round rather than the beginning. At least that was the excitement factor would have built up with each winning game. Oh well, shit happens, right?

Interesting Articles For Tipping Losses

As it turns out, the GWS Giants were too good for the Western Bulldogs. The Doggies managed to keep up in the first half but went off looking for a bone rather than the footy in the second half. Something you shouldn’t be doing when you’re this close to the finals. Their lack of commitment in the AFL Round 21 2017 Results was to be knocked out of the top eight.

Then we have the Gold Coast vs Brisbane game. Like the Western Bulldogs vs Giants game, Brisbane were definitely the favourites  but Fortuna decided to pick the Giants. The first half seemed to prove that she was right in picking the Suns but some heavy clouds wafted in in the second half blocking out the Sun and their hopes of scoring four points.

Finally, we have the Melbourne vs St. Kilda game. Here is what Melbourne has to say about that game.

All in all I suppose that getting 6 out of 9 isn’t too bad as far as tipping goes. As much as I like to see a perfect round I know that is a pretty hard ask. Oh well, we still have a few more rounds left. Maybe Fortuna will get one in before the season is over.

At least the Crows got another win under their belt. That was a brilliant game and as often as the Bombers narrowed the lead the Crows always ensured they never got too close to be a problem.

I’m afraid that next weeks game against Sydney will really make the Crows work for a win. Sure hope they can bring it out.

If you followed last weeks tips you’d be pretty happy with the AFL round 20 2017 results. Fortuna managed one of her best AFL tipping rounds tipping 8 out of 9 in her AFL round 20 2017 results.

AFL round 20 2017 results.Unfortunately getting one wrong means you totally stuffed any chances of winning the Sportsbet’s Million Dollar Tipping competition. Even if I did tip with 100% accuracy I still wouldn’t have won the Million Dollar tipping competition because I was no where near getting the margin right for the Showdown 43! Shit, the Crows pummeled Port Power so hard that I missed the margin by 71 points!

A little more about the Showdown a little later. I reckon we should take a look at the Geelong vs Sydney game to see what went wrong.

Geelong coach Chris Scott mentions that at least part of the reason for Geelong’s loss was because of Dangerfield’s omission due to his suspension. There are some who would say that perhaps Geelong relies too much on Dangerfield.

Others may think that Billy Brownless has the right idea by blaming the umpires for Geelong’s loss. Really Billy? maybe if they loss by a few points but you can’t blame bad umpiring when your team gets thumped by 46 points!

Crows Win Showdown 43

A Foxsports article states that Port played so dismally during showdown 43 that people wouldn’t blame Port Adelaide supporters for walking out early. Really? I thought as supporters you should support your team through good moments as well as bad ones. I don’t think that walling out on your team is really an option.

Having said that I wouldn’t blame them if they gave their team a little spray via social media.

As for the Crows. I don’t care how badly the Power played, the Crows deserved winning Showdown 43. If anything, Port can count themselves lucky that the Crows accuracy wasn’t what it should have been. If they were kicking straight Port would really have suffered a humiliating defeat instead of being trounced by a mere 84 points 😀

Naturally, the highlight of the game was me winning my bet. :drunk:

AFL Round 18 2017 Results

Man, I was so looking forward to a great week of AFL tipping. As you can see below, the AFL round 18 2017 results started off OK until the Melbourne vs Port Power game.

Trust Port Power to be the first one to screw things up for us. That was definitely a game they should have won but unfortunately they were asleep the first half. It wasn’t until the second half that someone decided to flip the switch to turn the power on, but by then it was way too bloody late.

As you can see from this article it was all about the Demons! The Power hardly got a mention until nearly the end of the article, but then when you play like shit, that’s all you deserve.

At least the Crows played like this was the win they had to have. They’ve finally broken the 14 year old hoodoo I spoke about in a previous post. Pyke spoke about the fierce contest but I’m sure everyone who watched that match saw how brilliantly the Crows stood up against the Cats! The Cats threw everything at them and were always in their faces but the Crows finally stood up the them and gave better than what they got.

And what about Sloane? Was he a bloody marvel or what? Lets hope he can keep it up.

Too bad we will lose Betts in the Collingwood clash due to having his appendix removed but fingers crossed that he will be back in the next Showdown.

See what the Roar had to say about the Richmond vs GWS Giants game. They figured it was going to be a close game and that Richmond should win. Looks like they were right.

The Collingwood vs West Coast was always going to be a close game, but it was still one that I thought West Coast could win. Unfortunately it wasn’t to be. Check out what Nine WWOS thought of that game.

As for the Carlton and Brisbane game? Read how Brisbane managed to hold off the late Carlton comeback?

The AFL round 18 2017 results just goes to show why teams have to play four quarters of footy if they expect to play finals.

As far as the betting goes, you’ll notice from my last post that the Sportsbet wager turned out to be a winner whereas the William Hill one didn’t.
