AFL Round 6 2017 Results

Fortuna’s AFL round 6 2017 results suffered by one extra loss from her round 5 efforts. All in all 7 out of 9 wasn’t all that bad. I’m pretty happy with that result because her tips allowed me another winning bet . You can see the AFL round 2017 results in the image below.

AFL round 6 2017 results

The only game that I was a little worried about was the Hawthorn vs St Kilda match. After Hawthorn’s incredible win last week I had this nagging feeling that they would stuff up this round too. It almost looked that way at the beginning of the round but luckily St. Kilda stepped up and put the Hawks down.

I have to admit though that it was a little upsetting when Sydney lost to Carlton. That was one match that I was pretty sure would turn out the other way. Most punters felt the same way too. It was because the odds were so in favour of Sydney winning that I didn’t include it in my multi-bet. Luckily for me too :tongue_out:

The other loss in Fortuna’s AFL round 6 2017 results was the Geelong vs Collingwood game. That was another game that would have surprised a lot of punters. Read why Geelong lost to Collingwood in that round.

Although I backed the Crows to beat Richmond I didn’t put any money on them because the odds were so poor. It was also why I didn’t include them in my multi-bet. While I was hoping the Crows would win that game I didn’t expect them to slaughter the Tigers the way they did. You have to admit that 140 to 64 is a resounding win. One which ensures the Crows place at the top of the ladder. They are now the only unbeaten team in the AFL. This is also their best positioning since they started in the AFL.

One thing I’ve learned in sports, and sports betting, is that nothing is ever carved in stone. You never know when the tables will change. At the moment Sportsbet has the Crows at favourites with $3.50 odds. It will be interesting to see how that will change as the season progresses.

How did you do with your AFL round 6 2017 results?

AFL Round 4 2017 Results

My AFL Round 4 2017 results were like my round 2 results, pretty bloody awesome. :drunk: I know we’re only four rounds in but it sure has developed a distinct pattern. The odd rounds, one and three, were pretty crappy, and the even rounds, two and four, were very good. Another great thing about the AFL Round 4 2017 results is that I placed two winning bets. I wrote about the first one in my last post. The second winning bet was one I placed on the spur of the moment.

You see Sportsbet is kind enough to give their members bonus bets. They seem to accumulate with each winning bet. The thing with their bonus bets it that thy expire if you don’t use them. Rather than lose it I put it all on St. Kilda to beat Collingwood and they did. More money in mt Sportsbet bankroll. Another great reason to be a Sportsbet member. The only one that let us down this week was the Melbourne vs Fremantle game. Eight out of nine isn’t too bad so I’m pretty wrapped with that result.

Round 4 2017 Highlights

I always love it when the Adelaide Crows have a great game so it’s nice to see news headings like, Eddie Betts leads Adelaide Crows to thumping of Essendon after week marred by racism controversy. It would have been great for Eddie to have such a great game, 6 goals and 2 points, after all that bullshit last week.

Speaking about thumpings, it would suck to be Hawthorn right now. Still, there are those that can always see a silver lining when things look really bad. Paul Roos sees positives in Hawthorn’s defeat. Good on ya Roos, I’m sure all the Hawthorn fans are struggling to see that silver lining right now.

As for the Crows, they’ve been knocked off the top of the ladder because of Geelongs thrashing of Hawthorn. I’m not too fussed with that. I only hope that the Crows can keep their momentum going.

Let’s hope that we have some great results with the round 5 2017 tips.

AFL Round 2 2017 Results

We’re only two weeks into the AFL 2017 season and what a great week of footy it was. Where the first week was full of upsets the AFL Round 2 2017 Results was nothing short of spectacular. Before checking out some of the highlights of round 2 lets have a look at Fortuna’s AFL Round 2 2017 Results.

AFL Round 2 2017 Results

Do you know what the best thing of the AFL Round 2 2017 Results was? I actually won my multi-bet last week. Don’t ask me how I did it but my put money on Richmond, Adelaide, Essendon and Geelong to win. What’s weird is that I normally follow Fortuna’s tips, and she tipped Collingwood.

Too bad I didn’t make the same mistake with Sportsbet’s Million Dollar Tipping competition. Then again, after Port Power annihilating Fremantle my margin was way off. The slaughter was so great that it’s put the Power on the top of the ladder, above the Crows, with a whopping 184.8 percentage.

Bad Umpiring Decision Spoiling AFL For Many fans

Something else about week 2 of the AFL 2017 season is one of the worst umpiring decision ever. I’m talking about the ‘push in the back’ decision against Crow’s David Mackay. It’s almost as if Hawthorne’s Paul Puopolo had umpire Andrew Mitchell in his pocket. :tongue_out:

That wasn’t the only bad umpiring decision of week 2 either. Fans and AFL legends had quite a bit to say about some the bullshit umpiring!

I don’t know about you but as far as I’m concerned bad umpiring can be really frustrating. Not only that, bad umpiring can also affect the outcome of a game. I know there are many that will dispute this but I don’t give a shit. I’m going to stick to my guns on this one’. Here are just two situations in where the umpiring can screw up the outcome of a game.

  1.  There’s only seconds in the game and any score can tip the outcome of the game. The umpire either gives away a free kick or fails to do so resulting in an undeserved win.
  2. Repeated bad call demoralise a team or changes the whole flow of the game. Maybe that shouldn’t be the resulting cause but I believe it can happen.

I’m sure there are more but I’m leaving that open to you guys. How do you think that bad umpiring can affect a game.
