Round 6 2016 AFL Results

Fortuna’s Round 6 2016 AFL Results

Round 6 2016 AFL ResultsFortuna’s Round 6 2016 AFL Results wasn’t all that bad getting only 3 out of the 9 wrong. That’s the thing when betting on the AFL, or any other sport for that matter. You just never know what the outcome is going to be. That’s why its so important to gamble responsibly.

As for my Sportsbet Multibet, it was absolutely one of the worst multi bets I’ve ever placed. You can see my multi-bet picks here. You’ll notice that I only got 2 of my five picks right. Of those the two that I found surprising was the Richmond vs Port Adelaide and the GWS Giants vs Hawthorne games. I should know better than to back a Port Power game. I’m sure they won that game just to piss me off  :RLOL:

This week wasn’t a total loss though. It did have two major highlights. The first was that the Crows managed to beat Fremantle. This puts the Crows in the seventh position, 4 spots above Port Power. Being above Port Power is always a good thing.  :tongue_out:

The other highlight was the Adelaide City win against Western Sydney Wanderers. To me it was a sweet victory because most of the commentators were so biased saying that it would be a definite Western Sydney Wanders win!

Instead, after 13 long years, Adelaide City United won their first final becoming the A-League Champions. I was so thrilled for them, especially as they started so badly at the beginning of the season.

As far as my Multi-Bet loss it wasn’t that bad because as I’ve said before the way I place my multi-bets I’ve always g0t something back. This is because I always place a dollar on each of the 5 legs and the remaining $5 goes on the multi-bet itself. That way even though my Multi-bet loses my winning legs of the multi-bet still pays out. This minimises the loss and means my sports betting bankroll lasts that much longer,

What do you do to make your sports betting bankroll last longer.

AFL Round 6 Footy Tips best online betting siteNow that I have Fortuna’s AFL Round 6 Footy Tips and the best odds offered (at the time of publishing this post) by my favourite online sports betting sites (listed above) I was able to work out my MultiBet. Once again my Multi-Bet is highlighted in the table above.

I’ve decided to go with Sportsbet again because they’re still offering special Cash Back offer. This post explains how their Cash Back offer that you see on the left actually turned a losing bet into a winning bet.

I have a special way of placing a multi-bet that minimises the amount I lose when my multi bet turns out to be a losing bet.

How To Minimise You Losing Multi-Bets

Most people when placing multi bets place their full wager on the multi. This will pay more when it win but you lose the total amount if it loses. That is of course unless you placed your bet with Sportsbet and you fulfil the conditions of the Cash Back offer.

I do it a little bit differently. Keeping with my responsible gambling rules I put a dollar in each of the 5 legs of the multi bet, That leaves me with $5 to place on the actual multi! This way, even if I lose the muti bet itself I still get paid for the individual legs that won.

Using this system I minimise my losses when placing my bets online and stretch my sports betting bankroll that much further.

A winning bet this week will win me $62.29. You can see my bet here. Are you placing a multi-bet this week?

AFL Round 4 Results 2016

Fortuna AFL Round 4 Results 2016 Pretty Good

Fortuna AFL Round 4 Results 2016

I have to say I am pretty happy with Fortuna’s Fortuna AFL Round 4 Results 2016. After all, picking 7 out of 9 is pretty damn good. It also brings Fortuna’s combined Footy tips results for round 4 to 26! I reckon that’s pretty damn good.

When you consider the 2 that Fortuna got wrong, the Brisbane vs Gold Coast and Collingwood vs Melbourne games, who would have thought those two games would have turned out the way that they did? Those two games were definitely upsets in round 4 and I’m sure a lot of punters out there would have gotten them wrong.

As for my MultiBet with William Hill the Collingwood game cost me my Multi-Bet win.  :guns: Luckily they didn’t lead in any of the quarters otherwise I would have been really pissed that I didn’t go with Sportsbet! I forgot to mention in my last post that even though I lost my multi-bet with Sportsbet they refunded my MultiBet wager because in the one leg of my multibet that lost they led in one of the quarters.

  • If your team lead at any break but lose, cash back up to $50

In my case I’m referring to their AFL Multi Special!

Sportsbet AFL Multi Special

AFL Multi Special!

So, in reality because Sportsbet gave me my cash back my last bet with them was actually a winning bet. In my previous post I stated my $10 bet returned $6.42 but because of their AFL Multi Special rerun of $5 I actually got $11.42 which is of course a win!  :clap2:
