Round 2 AFL Footy Tips 2016

Fortuna’s round 1 footy tips was pretty darn good getting 7 out of 9 correct. You can see her round 1 footy tips here. Lets see how she goes with her Round 2 AFL Footy tips 2016. As this is a sports betting site I will be placing a bet using one of the following popular online sports betting sites.

  1. Bet365 is very popular with punters because of their unique sliding scale feature for cashing out. This cash out feature allows you to choose how much you want to cash out which is great when you’re not sure whether or not you want to cash out at all.
  2. Sportsbet‘s cash out feature doesn’t have the sliding scale but is still very popular with punters. What makes them really popular is their Million Dollar Tipping. Especially because it’s free to members. Yep, their Million Dollar Tipping competition is back for 2016. This post shows how you can actually win as long as you get the closest margin!
  3. William Hill, well they’re William Hill, one of the most renowned online sports betting sites. I’m just hanging out for the day they introduce a cash out feature.

Once I’ve checked the odds offered by these online sports betting sites I’ll choose which one of them will take my money. But before we get to that I need to have a look at Fortuna’s round 2 AFL Footy Tips 2016

Now that I have  Fortuna’s round 2 AFL Footy Tips and the odds from the top 3 online sports betting sites I’ve made my selection for my multi-pick. Once again I’ve gone with Sportsbet because they’ve got the best odds.

The reason for my placing a multibet is because it usually gives you better odds meaning you can win more money. The combined odds for this particular multi-bet is 5.87. This post explains how those odds are worked out. You can see my actual bet here. A multibet win will net me around $38 which isn’t bad for a $10 outlay. With multi bets, unless you get every game wrong, will always return you something which you can use for further bets. This means you sports bankroll lasts that much longer,

Because I’m a member of the Million Dollar Tipping competition I’ve also entered my picks. Just for fun I’ve also placed a buck on that multibet which will net me $16.95 for a win. The best thing about being a Million Dollar Tipping member is that every week I have the chance of winning $10,000! If you’re not a member you should seriously consider joining.

Have you placed your MultiBet yet? Or any bet for that matter?

Round 4 NAB Challenge Tips

Round 4 NAB Challenge TipsIts time for the round 4 NAB Challenge tips. You may remember that I got all the tips right in the first round of the NAB Challenge. You may also remember that I didn’t place a bet on that round. I did place bets on the other two though with pretty dismal results. Do you reckon that Fortuna is trying to tell me something?  :tongue_out:

What the hell, what’s the point of having a sports betting blog if I’m not willing to place a bet. Besides, although winning is the ultimate outcome placing a bet increases the thrill of the actual games I’ve placed a bet on. Not to mention that placing Multi-Bets ensures that thrill covers a lot more games.  :drunk:

Out of my favourite online sports betting sites Bet365SportsBet and William Hill, the first two are the only ones to offer a cash back feature. You’ll notice that there are a lot more matches in the final round of the NAB Challenge. So lets have a look at this weeks round 4 NAB Challenge tips.

The round 4 NAB Challenge tips are probably as close as we’re going to get to an actual AFL match. This is because a lot of the sides are going to have full strength lineups. The main problem with getting the round 4 NAB Challenge tips right is that we can’t really go on past performance in this pre-season games.

Betting tips should improve once we’re able to see how the relative teams are playing in the 2016 AFL season.

I’ve decided to go with Bet365 this week because they’re offering the best odds. Weird that at the time this post went live that William Hill didn’t have any of the Friday’s games odds available. Too bad because this left them out of the betting loop this week.

The teams I’ve decided to back are in red in the table above. You can see a snapshot of my actual bet here. Yes, I actually do place bets with the online sports betting sites that I promote.

Are you placing a bet on any of this weeks NAB Challenge? If so I’d love to hear from you in the comments.

AFL Finals Week 1 Tipping Results

Did I not say that anything could happen in the finals? I’m pretty sure I did.  :tongue_out: So lets have a look at the AFL Finals Week 1 Tipping Results.

Fortuna’s AFL Finals Week 1 Tipping Results

AFL Finals Week 1 tipping Results

All in all I’m pretty happy with Fortuna’s AFL Finals week 1 tipping results. Especially because her tip on the Western Bulldogs Adelaide games was correct. Which was really good for me because, as you can see from this post, I placed ten bucks with Sportsbet on the Adelaide Crows to win. Now you all know the main reason for my placing online sports bets is to increase the enjoyment factor of the games I watch. Naturally when those bets pay off it’s just the frosting on the cake.

Lately I’ve also been placing $1 multi-bets because of Sportsbet’s Million Dollar Tipping competition. I decided I’d continue to place those multicast even though the Million Dollar Tipping competition is over for this season. You should really try your luck with it next year.  I do this because those multi-bets mean I get to enjoy even more footy games, games I normally wouldn’t even bother with. I don’t know about you but I reckon that’s pretty good for a buck!

As for the Richmond vs Nth. Melbourne game, I really agreed with Fortuna’s AFL Finals week 1 tipping which is why I backed Richmond in my multi-bet. Even though they lost that game it was a fantastic game to watch. It’s what finals footy is all about! Some say that Nth. Melbourne won that game because of all the players they rested. Personally I feel they wanted the win more. Even though Richmond lead for a lot of the game it was only because of Nth Melbourne’s inaccurate kicking, 30 shots at goal as compared to Richmond’s 18!

As for my feelings on the Crows game, I think I’ll leave that for another post.
